I can answer both of your questions.

When you are fulfilling an order on aliexpress, write "do not include invoice in the package" in the notes section.

The only way to avoid getting sued is to promote non branded items.

Yes, you can set up weights in the shopify platform, which will help you with this Im sure theres a tutorial on youtube/interwebs for this.

even if you make 50 rules for 50 weight ranges, what if the person orders more than that?
I think the easiest way to work around this is to define some rule, example (shipping price*number of items).
But i can't find a way to do that..

Before I found this method I just saw an ad on fb about a fanpage with a watch store. Watches for free and shipping 7.99.
I experienced this on myself and I found myself having 2 watches in shopping cart before I saw the shipping cost and then the brain started working.
The cool thing is that prices in the shope were 35-50 so compared to 8 shipping cost it's nothing.
SO I assume the conversions will be pretty high. Just niche has to be perfect and products highly desired.
With this method target women especially. They will buy by trucks any earrings or bracelets.. Things that they would wear daily.
Make up sets would sell well.
You have a perfect money maker here. Just need to set it up and bring traffic.

Just add your fb profile to any fb sell/freebie groups and post a lot. You'll get load of people if you just mention they have free stuff.

So total cost if you want to make this work is this:
Shopify + Oberlo + domain name (optional) + logo (optional - make yourself or fiverr) = Under $50 easly.

On top of that for first month you are running on trials so it cost you nothing but just few hours of work.

Thanks OP, the method may or may not work at all. The whole free+ shipping doesnt work in the long run. I did that for two weeks at my store and had 85 abandoned carts and 3 sales.

I usually start testing ads with $20/day but you can get started with as low as $10/day and scale up from there.

I've been thinking this for a really long time but as a Non-American, this seems a bit difficult. I got no Paypal account, no tax number etc. (I have SSN, tho)
Can we only accept payments with Payoneer? How effective would it be without Paypal gateway?

I mentioned both in the starting thread. They don't really bother with tax number and stuff but since I saw a lot of people being worried about it I will make another thread in a bit showing how people outside US can get an EIN number. And yes Payoneer's payment service works fine and you can only use only Paypal if you want.

Wow great guide and everything is step by step. I'm going to give this a go in my country since there is low competition. Right now I'm looking through aliexpress and selecting some cheap products. My girlfriend orders a lot on aliexpress and it takes up to a month for some of the products to get here. Do you get complaints/refunds on a daily basis? Can you do refunds directly through shopify or do you have to handle that with your bank?

One more question if you don't mind. I'm going to be doing key chains but in my country no one is going to pay $10 for shipping as shipping is fairly cheap in my country. Lets say I find a key chain for $1 and sell it for $2 on my store, do you think I will see a return since I still have to pay to run facebooks ads? I haven't really used facebook ads before so I don't know what the costs are to run an ad.

I only use USA, Canada to promote my stores reason being it's very common for shipping to be this high in America, even higher. But yes of course you can use this method in your own country as long as it's cost effective meaning it will all depend on how much you have to spend on FB ads. If it's too cheap then go ahead. And for refunds you will get a few here and there just like any business. You will get queries though as to why it takes so long for shipping. Tell them their items are being shipped from your international warehouse and you will be fine.

Payoneer is no longer an option as far as I can tell. I am setting up amazon payments, I hope that is okay?

Payoneer works perfectly with stripe.

I have done a lot of research in shopify and dropshiping and I'm willing to start my own store soon .. Throughout my learning process I have found that shopify apps are the gold mine if the right compination of different apps used together.

I have never had any issues with my ad account for selling generic stuff but yes replicas and stuff like that on the hand is a different story.

You can create more ranges yes and remember you decide what the weight of a certain item is so if you put 0.1 of a 0.9 product Shopify still won't bother. Just calculate profits and you are good.

If an item is being sold on AliExpress and has a shit ton of sales, you can resell it. That's a rough way to sum it up.

Actually it's very common for shipping to be $10 or much higher in the US and think of it like the original product is $40 let's say and you are really passionate about that niche the product is in and you can get it for $9.99 would you take it or not? But the real money is in the upsells because you can literally upsell a buyer on anything in the category they bought in.
