СPA & CPI: Question of morality.

Hello kind people of BHW!

Unexpected thread from me, but I really want to discuss it. Maybe, this way I want to try to convince myself to continue with CPA more "white hat" way. (and pardon for my english, not a native one)

So I've practice CPA for months now. I finally figured it out how to manipulate people and convice them to fill forms or download apps. And all of it a complete fraud of course. But today i feel kind of sensitive. IDK why. I feel guilty and dirty. And worst part is that with white hat I make 0 cents, but on the other hand - Black Hat put some decent dollar in my pocket.

So my questions to you:
- Do you ever felt guilty promoting CPA offers?
- And what sorts of honest promotions you use to keep your conscience clear?

- And the last and, obviously, rhetorical question - is it best to stop promoting someone else's products and start creating your own stuff?

Who can share some experience in this?
I know this thread might sound pathetic, so no need to tell me that. I really need to use this wonderful forum to discuss my issues. It helped me in the past, so I think it is appropriate to still keep looking for experience here.

You cant feel guilty about something that is being decided already. Did i take part in deciding my DNA or my Environment? No.

In my opinion...it really depends. I always try to run my campaigns as wh as possible. Most offers can be pretty bullshit but at the same time it brings home the money so I can't really argue.

To answer your questions:

Never thought about it, I try to treat it as a business. My job is to connect the lead with the business. After the conversion its not really my problem anymore.

And what sorts of honest promotions you use to keep your conscience clear?

Again, doesn't really apply to me. If I had to choose id stay away from health related stuff and promote ecom related stuff.

For your own products, it depends. You can definitely give it a shot and promote your own campaigns via paid traffic.

I think your issue is with what you are promoting, have you given thought to other niches? Other methods of promotion? You should be able to make $$ WH, there are many options i have been working IM for many years and now working at a network and I see many people making honest cash.

Well, I'm closer to WH with every day. I can't understand this change of character. Maybe it something about self respect. And some strange desire was born. To give something valuable to people.

I've personally never felt comfortable with shady rebills. (Though I have written copy for them many, many times.)

If CPA turns you off, you might want to switch to another form of monetization like Amazon or Adsense.

CPA is what's works best for me so far. Way better than anything else. I'm launching one White Hat promotion right now. If it shows some life in a few days - I'm all in for it. And I will confirm it here if it will work.

I did CPA with Instagram for like 7-8 months and made quite a bit of money but I did quit it for moral reasons. I got tired of spamming CPA offers to kids all day long. I wanted to do something I was proud of and could talk about with other people so I made the switch. I got into CPA to make money for Whitehat ventures any way, so it wasn't too hard for me.

When i started ogads +IG it was my first experience with Cpa ,after i got accepted in ogads i requested landing page (pokemonemojis) and i started promoting it on ig thinking that people will get this emoji keyboard after completing an offer or downloading an app , i got some conversions in the first day then i created another account promoting the same thing ,i was making between 3-5 a day with those accounts , till now everything looking normall until one day i decided to try this pokemon emoji keyboard myself and after completing everything i got nothing in the end !!! in this moment i experienced the feeling of those kids after they realise they being cheated on !! i felt guilty for doing this and i was confused in the same time maybe it's my fault i didn't the right steps to get this pokemon emoji keyboard !! and are all the people doing this method scamming ?? this was the reason why i opened a thread talking about this to see what people think about ogads offers and if they are giving people what they promised them or just scamming (you can read my thread to see how pepole reacted )
Now i'm doing whitehat , it is true when you do a blackhat you earn a lot more but you never be happy with such thing besides in my case it's against Religion
So i prefer $1 whitehat rather than $1000 scamming people

well, what can I say? I'm thinking the same thing as you but as long as I'm making money, I would be willing to do it.. even thought I feel bad plenty of time... Think about it, most of the shit on the Internet is fake and not working. Those make money from home offer, those servey sites, those warrior offers,.. most of the shit are fake and looking to pull money out of regular & desperate people. However, I'm greed and still doing it. I dont know whether I'll be punished...

Here is the thing. I've read a lot about marketers who promote their own products. And learned some tasty theories:
1) When you create valuable content, you form a group of buyers who stick with you and keep returning to buy more your products. This way it is more profitable. And it's not possible with scam CPA promotion.
2) It's stupid to be afraid of someone stealing/spreading/reselling your product after buying it. Because with every new product you creating more and more competent stuff. You moving forward, expanding your audience and making more money, while thiefs and scammers never reaches bigger potential of IM. This is so obvious and yet not many people do that.

Because yeah, promote someone elses product way easier than create and promote your own xD

I've never felt guilty promoting CPA. I think that all comes full circle with the people who report my links and my links get registered as spam links. If they are dumb enough to believe they can get something for free for installing something of mine, that's their own fault, and I deserve the $31 conversion.
