Be careful doing giveaways. A lot of people will sub to you only for the giveaways and unsub right after. They also tend to get upset and go disliking all your videos.

Thank you, I'm aware of this though. I don't mind dislikes, as they're quite wonderful. They help boost your videos to more views, however of course likes would be better. But still, any engagement triggers YT's ranking system.

Anyways, these are more giveaways just for the current subs. It'll encourage people to sub because they'll see that I will be doing these frequently, but they're not the traditional ones where it's just "sub and comment to win". I won't be heavily focusing on promoting them, they won't even have their own videos. They'll be add-ons to other news.

Ah but it's not even get-rich-slow Only for the beginning it might seem like that.. but once I get past 100K+ subs it's all a race. Once you have a base built, you just capitalize on it and pounce at every opportunity. It's not overnight success, but once you have one snowball rolling down the hill, you keep making them until you're out of snow and are forced to move into new territory.

#28 I found an editor for both a video for my channel and my gaming channel. We're set. At least I think so for the gaming channel, but anyways, I'm happy to get this started. It will cost me a pretty penny.. that's for sure, at least a couple hundred dollars. But I'm fine with even spending $500 just to produce a good video. And then an additional $500 to promote it. I can't wait to be able to share the finished product, which might take a week or two before it's up and running.

But that'll definitely get me the subs And it'll take my channel to the next level in terms of quality. But for right now, total subs is: 1,530. Total views: 201,451. Realtime: 6,100

Report #29 1,566 subs. Realtime: 6,100 and total: 204,599. I'm preparing a video for next week that'll be an updated version of one of my most viewed ones and top rated, so it's even more helpful. This one actually is like educational so I'm quite happy with it and I'll be even happier when I get to promote it. And for the edited video that's coming out soon.. Oh man. I'm super excited about it. I'm not promoting right now because I feel like I should keep that to a minimum until that's released soon as well. I'll go fully out on that

Report #30 1,591 subs, 207,652 total views and 5,800 realtime. As you can tell my stats are falling, however we've already beaten last month's analytics and still have 13 more days left of data And of course I'm waiting to go full out with the video at the end of the month. I will NOT settle for anything less than 1M views with that. Hopefully within a week or less of promoting! If you do the math, if we'd have the same exact results as right now (1544 subs for every 207,652 views) then an additional 1M views would net me at least 7,436 (rounded up) subs! I think it might be closer to 10K subscribers though, as this will hopefully be the best video I've uploaded yet. It still won't be perfect, but it sure as heck will be better than vlogs. I just don't think many vlogs are "viral" worthy. You either have funny, shocking, cute, or crazy videos go viral. Vlogs rarely solidly fall into any of those categories.

And hey, worst case scenario (this is like worst, worstttt case, so it's not even gonna happen) the video doesn't do as well as I'd like it to. I can make more. No problem. 100K isn't far away..

I've been spending a lot of time working on my gaming channel and am happy with where it is right now however it's going to require an insane amount of work over the next 2-3 weeks or so. I'll still be uploading on my personal of course, but I'm just excited as now I see $ signs everywhere with every upload for the gaming channel as Infinite Warfare's coming out. If I reach the goals that I'd like to reach with it, I might be able to sell off my shares for a realllyyyy nice price. As in 5 figures. If so, that would enable me to invest a lot of that into this channel and there we go. 100K is a nice goal, but I've already made goals for next year as well that are quite large. I'm a little saddened with the fact that I'm only at 1,600 today, thought it'd be more but that's alright. I did lose a sub just before posting haha, not sure why.

It's not the best day but hey things are moving so that's what matters most

Report #33: The video that is in the process of editing is doing alright, I'm just a bit disappointed to see that quality of the footage could've been better. It's my fault, unfortunately the Samsung's camera isn't the best.. Oh well, it's still better than any vlog of mine lol. As in just different. I'm excited for the day I might get some crystal quality camera, I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to that but right now I can't do a thing about it. Report #33 219,233 views, 1,662 subs, and 5,800 realtime views. I'm quite happy that I'm able to engage with 95%+ of the comments on my channel, or at least the ones I see. Some are glitched and I can't respond to and others are just double posts or short ones. Growth has been slowing down towards the end of the month but already we've trumped last month and all previous months before that. I do hope I'll be able to get the video out and promoted before the end of the month!

I've also got a small collab coming up I think that'll be very interesting to see. I've been really hard at work on the gaming channel and am quite curious to see where it'll be come November 4th when Infinite Warfare comes out. I've still got to put in a lot of time and I might have to pull a few all nighters with it.

Report #34 I decided to do an early morning report today. We've certainly come a long way since the beginning. We're at 1,673 subscribers right now, 222,455 total views, 5,700 realtime, and lifetime unsubs at 248. Also so far this month's earnings are $36.46, not too bad in comparison with last month. Already crushing it and still a whole week to go!

I'm quite happy with the engagement my channel has in comparison to my gaming one. This is definitely going to be big next year and I'm excited about that. I think I'm going to have to do more vlogs about trendy news though as my views have been declining a tiny bit and it's partially due to me making vlogs about less entertaining topics. If I do a perfect balance of trendy and educational, we'll be good with that.

Chances are some of the videos will go viral just by themselves. Most likely for this personal channel though the main edited video will be released in 2 days or so. October's coming to a close and it's been a rather good month but I would like to see a bit better numbers over the next few days

Report #36 I'm extremely tired after working on the gaming channel. Unfortunately my editor hasn't messaged me still, so the video's delayed by a day or two I guess. No worries. I'm kind of stressed out with the gaming channel, as I wasn't able to fully hit all targets however I'm coming up with quick solutions. Still end goal is to get everything done by December 6th for that channel.

Anyways, this one's had a nice small promo on reddit which gained me a few more subs. 6,500 realtime views, 228,079, and 1,747 subscribers.

Do you know if putting too much ads in 10 mins videos affects it in a negative way ?
I'm putting like 5 ads/vid and I don't know If it's hurting it.

Report #37 Well I tried to make it daily, but stress has been a little too high over the past couple of days. I'm going to have to see an attorney most likely (at least for the peace of mind) tomorrow due to something YouTube related. It's not related with the actual channels and all of that.. but err.. well, there's been a little bit of a Reddit witchhunt due to something I said in a video from long ago. A subscriber linked the deleted thread now to me, and that freaked me out haha. Anyways, I think all should be well. But hey, with every up you have a down as well. I'm prepared. It's just interesting that already at 1.8K subs I'm facing some little scandals lol.

I'll make a fun vlog about this soon, it's gonna be hilarious. Anyways, stats have grown quite a bit recently due to some reddit promos. I wish I could've done more but kind of freaked out yesterday, so today we've calmed down a bit and going to promote a lot more. I might go down to 1 video every 2 days to retain more subscribers and focus more on quality soon.. still thinking about it.

Glad to see the progress you have made. I just wanted to comment a bit about the gaming channel.

Keep in mind that the gaming niche is VERY, VERY, VERY over-saturated. One thing that happens because of this is that your content gets buried underneath all the other videos people/kids are making. This is why gaming content always takes longer to gain traction on. Just keep this in mind moving forward for the gaming channel. Your videos could be the best in the world, but until your videos get past all the crappy videos they won't get much traction.

Report #38 We're going down to a report every 2 days. I decided it'd be easier and more exciting anyways, since I won't be posting daily videos anymore. I spoke with a few different people on this, and I think from now on it'd be better to post fewer to retain more subscribers. Posting a lot is good at first, but then once you start gaining traction.. well, you don't want to scare people away. I want people to watch everything I post, and right now that might not be possible for everyone. Every 2 days seems good though. And also I have the video finally ready to post tomorrow, so the space will give it more of a boost
