Confused About Majestic

I am going to buy expired domain with the help of Domcop. but when i search its metrices on Majestic its show variable thing like

when i search xyz.com its shows 30tf
searching http://xyz.com its shows 0tf
finally i search http://www.xyz.com its shows 17tf

Plz Help !!

With and without www would be different of course because www is technically a sub-domain.
Not sure why it's different with and without http:// though.

I think the difference might come from the way it's being linked to IE href="http://xyz.com" vs href="www.xyz.com", so I think if you put in xyz.com it's catching all variations, if you put in http://xyz.com it's only looking for the xyz.com, and etc.

xyz.com is for every link pointing to the domain.

http://www.xyz.com is for....idk how to explain it exactly but I use the subdomain for TF

The Majestic metrics are different for the root domain and the subdomain. This depends on whether the website (original website of the expired domain) was setup on the root domain (example.com) or the subdomain (www.example.com). TF depends on the number and quality of links to the website. If the original website was setup as http:www.example.com, then it would get all (or most) of its links to this subdomain. Therefore the TF of www.example.com would be higher than TF of example.com. (The same is true the other way around)

Now, when looking at expired domains, you want to check the TF of both the root and the www subdomain. Whichever is higher is the true TF for that domain. (You can quickly confirm this when you check the back links according to Majestic - they will always point to either the root or sub domain, depending on which is higher)

What we do at DomCop is get both these values, and simply show you the one which is higher, because the higher one is the correct one and the only one you should be looking at.

why not search all 3 like you did, then do site:xyz.com in goole with 3 combinations, google has the final say
