Low product cost promotion

Hi guys! I'm new here at BHW but have some experience with internet marketing. I have a product that is only $6.95. What would you say is the best way to promote via facebook? I have a fanpage and get good engagement but I want to do paid ads. You think I can still make a good profit with a low cost product?

Depends what the cost of the product is. If it costs you $6.50 then forget it, if it costs you nothing then maybe. It's about profit not the value of the product.

look on some big facebook fan pages. For something getting shared a LOT. (thats what viral means)

Wouldn't I have to boost the post or create a ad... I only have 560 fans on FB page.

Well that's a decent markup so it really depends how cheap you can get the ads and how much interest the product would generate.

I'll have to bow out at this point though as I don't use facebook ads. Somebody else may be able to advise you.
