Hey I watched looplines video on how to make your own AA list. I was wondering how often I should check the "Non succsessful links" as he said he checks them he just didnt check them in the tutorial video. I have a list of 18000 urls that i re-checked, and just wanted to know how many times I should keep rechecking this list until i have recieved the most out of it?
I mean its up to you. If its a list you know is an AA list then check them, but if your posting to 5 million urls, then I don't always check them. It just depends.
So If your looking for domains, and posting to a scraped list, I wouldn't actually check them, as its not worth my time these days. But when I find a url on a domain, then I extract internal links from that domain and all other domains. Dig thru the site to find all the urls I can that are AA.
When posting to that list, that is when I would check the failed links as well. Actually what I would do is post to the list, export failed, post to them again, then link check the entire original list.
There isn't a wrong answer here really. I mean if your talking posting, you can post to the failed as well a few times, especially if your posting to something that is already a AA list.
Anyway, its really up to you. Test a few times and measure results in each case and you can decide at what point its not worth your time. Because if your spend too much time chasing down 7 AA links that you missed, and you could use that same time to power thru 235 more AA links from scraping and posting etc.. then its a loss. Its not really about accuracy so much as its about what is the most effecient use to accumulate the most links the fastest.
That depends on your approach, footprint, scraping ability, setup etc.. Test and see
Does it have Majestic.com TF,CF checker ? it would be nice to have it
The expired domain finder plugin has majestic, but there is no addon for it. The expired finder requires a paid account and you can already login and run reports etc.. I mean I don't get to decide, but there isn't such an addon at the moment.
Have just requested a transfer for my license over the weekend after a new pc install, thing is I cant remember the original email I signed up with back when SB first came out as I had several linked to my PP account. I have my ID and can even tell you the date of purchase...how do I find out the email I used and what if it is now a defunct email I no longer have?
Cheers
You can contact support and give them the mails you think it is and they can tell you which one of your mails it is.
OR
You can contact paypal and ask what mail it was sent to
OR
You could search your mail boxes, especially since you know the date, for money sent to either support (at] scrapebox [dot) com OR paypal [at} 5t8 {dot) com
And when you find the account that has the mail receipt from paypal and the scrapebox welcome mail, thats the one
OR
You could look in your backups wherever you backup important license info in case you ever need it and your hard drive crashes etc..
OR
You could contact support and give them your transaction ID and then can look up your mail or resend a mail to that mail
Unless they need to mail you license data, it won't matter if you can't access the mail any more. The mail is part of your license data like a key, but you don't need to get mail at it to activate scrapebox.
However if you have to have your license data resent and you don't have access to the mail then your options include somehow getting access to the mail, like reregistering it or whatever. Or if all fails you could buy another license of Scrapebox and backup your license data so your set for next time.
