Hello forum! I'm new here, and I'm sorry if it's bad etiquette to ask a question without having helped anyone else first.
To anyone interested, here's how I made roughly $3,500 consistently for around a year.
Now, I am not advising you do this, as it does involve methods I'm sure are not supported by the forum. I'm just explaining how I did things.. and how it all ultimately came to an end. All in hopes someone can guide me with some tips, if you wish to do so!
I built a website where I resell fiver gigs in a specific niche. ALL my sales were made from email campaigns using emails I scraped from Twitter bios. (In a way, this is spam, but targeted spam, if that makes sense - All users did post their email on there to be contacted. I'm not trying to justify spamming, but just saying). There was no SEO involved, no google ads, nothing.
My list was around 100,000 emails. I was sending around 2,000 emails per campaign, which would equal to around $500 in sales. Through it, by the end of the month I was making an average of $3,500. I was selling the product for $25.
I'm not sure if I'm just a lucky kid, or maybe those numbers are actually horrible, as I'm aware some of you guys make 20k+ a month. But, to me, I have the feeling that this website can be so much more with the numbers it is bringing (or WAS bringing)
Like I said, all emails were scraped. Eventually most mass emailing companies (like mailchimp, mailerlite, sendinblue, etc) all caught on to it, giving me no where else to go. I'm not savvy enough to do my own mass emailing. Also, I'd like to do things in a more legitimate, long-term way! I've learned my lesson.
Long story short, my business went from making $3,500 a month, to almost nothing, as all I know is email sales using scraped leads. But to you experienced people out there, if I'm able to make the money I did, does that mean my business has big potential if ran with the right knowledge?
With your knowledge that you're willing to share, what would you do in my situation? What would you advise to learn? Having a business that you know can clear sales, just being ran by someone with no experience.
