Do I still need hosting for blogspot after buying Domain

I have domain now but I don't know either I should still buy hosting cause am using blogspot to blog free and pls if I don't need what will be the disadvantages of not having hosting?.

You are not in full control of your website. You can use blogspot then later on transfer the site to a paid hosting.

If you're using custom domain for blogspot, blogspot will host it for you. The disadvantages is that you don't have full control over your website, limited themes, limited customization. Basically you're just using blogspot but with a custom domain. Namecheap offers $10/year hosting, maybe you wanna take a look at that.

thanks a lot...but if I use blogspot for now and later decided to host it, will I not loose any of my contents?

You can always transfer your content after you move to your own hosting.

If your blog content does not agreed with there terms and conditions, then there is a chance of getting delete you blog. If you can spend 4-5 $ per month it is always best to get some hosting from a trusted hosting provider
