Gaming, 85k subs, over year, about million views per month. Still waiting for that sweet 100k and then the verified tag.
Decided to share my plan: after I get verified, I will comment non-spammy comments to other related gaming channels and people will probably check out my channel when they see the verified tag. My comments are already at the top of comment sections but that verified tag will greatly improve the click ratio to my channel

views 140k+ ish views/month
only been actively promoting my vids past 7 months. wouldve gotten more subs/view/likes if i was a different niche

Two channels:
Technology - 2 months old , 2k views per month so far, 1.1k subs
Entertainment channel like Funny video that i make or vlogs or shortfilms and music and stuff - original content - 2.5k views per month , 3k subs, 1 11 months old

I have a channel that I started as a gaming channel, but never got around to uploading games. I just talk about personal development stuff and traveling in China. Under 100 subs, but I don't post content regularly or edit my content.

YouTube changed the rules recently, untill two months you needed only decent amount of subs even it it means having 5000 subs, so people who applied before have those verified tick but now on people with 100K subs can only request verification. So yea
