i don't think that youtube is flagging videos for that, they gave you the option to block comments and rating, but it can be flagged by users that is competing on the same niche, anyway we manage so far to learn some stuff from this experiment, i hope it will stay a bit longer so we can learn some more.


BTW it's also got indexed #5 on the kw "marketing" this is crazy, but we must not forget it's a "NEW" video and it's important to see how well it will rank after the "NEW" label will be lifted.

first of all thank you uploader for sharing , but personally i dont think it will really makes you rank like a god in just one day . it can push your views count by suggesting it to viewers interested in that category of videos . and im pretty sure that google is fully aware with that .

only a few hundred clicks so far, and no direct sales from this experiment yet, about the traffic to the video, most of it is not organic, we still in the ranking stage, so it's too soon to tell, i will public another video as a reference to this experiment, similar video, same creation time (was unlisted) but this time it will be with 0 views.

Getting on the Homepage of YouTube isn't hard. I've got to it with likes 50-60k views within 24 hours. But yeah to get higher ranking you need to put in the traffic with a lot of speed. I have tried various tricks and some of them did get me as high as Rank 10 in the top 100 video list.

correct, from the inside, the data get update the same as every new video, the analytics data will show only after 2-3 days, on the search index it show with the "NEW" mark saying it was uploaded 20 hours ago, youtube knows that it didn't get all that traffic today since they have the real time data that counts the current traffic (8K-10K per day). this experiment meant to check if we can trick the ranking/trending algo. in 2-3 days we can tell.

BTW there is a way to get views from Related/suggested videos, but that is a different experiment.

If you have a method to target suggested/related videos that's more interesting topic for discussion.

this video was uploaded on 2014 and was kept unlisted, so for the test, i published it now with 0 views and start to send full retention fast traffic (not organic)

it's easy to use GEO targeted traffic to enter very fast on the local geo playlists (top 100) but that is a different experiment

we don't use proxies to generate the traffic, it's more of a network, although it's based on real human users, it can't be mistaken as organic, the purpose is to rank high fast and to give your video the initial jump start.

I don't get this, this view is unlisted and then public and then less then 24 hours it got nearly 100k? What have you done to this video before public?
