While doing youtube research I've read several times that Xrumer links can get you shut down and banned.

My video was against YouTube's TOS. I don't think the service itself gets videos banned. But it makes the video more visible to your competition.

When a video gets more exposure it earns more money but it's also exposed to more flaggers. It's a gift and a curse. I once had a video earn me $200+ per day. But it's almost impossible to replicate that because the damn things get taken down so quick. The real key is to engineer a video that doesn't get banned but still makes a hefty profit.
