Greetings just bought scrapebox few days ago...I am scraping domains right now when I do the alive check it shows most domains are not Red NO but when I got to domain it shows it live domain with website on it...Am I doing something wrong or is that technical issue?

The Alive Checker allows you to control exactly what server responses are classed as Dead and Alive.

If you just tell it to mark 200 responses as alive, then 301 and 302 redirects will be marked as dead. This gives you a lot of control when classifying websites, but if the right header responses aren't added you won't get the results you are after. To get started try adding:

301
302
304

You can also see a full list of HTTP status codes on Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTTP_status_codes#1xx_Informational or you can go to Export > Save all urls with status and response code as Excel file, and see exactly what all the urls returned.

You can look it up in paypal or contact paypal.

Or you can look thru your emails for the paypal receipt.

Or you can just look in your license backup details where you keep important info like this.

Failing that you can mail support a support (at] scrapebox [dot) com

and they can research your details and mail them to the license email address. This process takes up to 48 hours.

Guys i have the both versions of scrapebox, lately i tryed on old version the link checker and it shows in installed addons but it doesnt appear in dropdown menu, does anyone else has this issue.

The link checker was updated and when you installed the addon it just updated the link checked in the main program. This allowed them to use a new compiler that wasn't compatible with the old code. Aka the new link checker was better, but needed to be an addon so it was seperated from the main code. Thus its not in the addon drop down, its launched automatically when you launch the link checker.

That said that improved addon is built into the core of the main scrapebox in Scrapebox V2 and its better then it was in V1 as its been updated.

i'm not gonna argue with you about this, i'm not even sure why you are replying to my comment since afaik you are not a scrapebox developer nor represent them

i'm leaving my experience, people can take it how they want and make up their own minds. no matter how useful it is, scrapebox is a buggy piece of software. the VPS issues were that it was rebooting on me. it wasn't causing programs not to run correctly. NO OTHER PROGRAMS than scrapebox had issues running. so in reality, it could STILL have the same issue on my new VPS. but they still decide they wanna charge me more to transfer it, so yes, i'm taking this up with scrapebox themselves

Its not Scrapeboxes fault that your VPS froze, and they still have overhead to cover too. If you run a business then you already know this.

Some programs like Xrumer charge you hundreds of dollars up front and $10 a month. Scrapebox is already a top tier software at a bargain basement price. If you spent the same amount of time working as you likely have griping you could have already earned $10 and this would be a mute point.

My 2 cents.



The pricipal is that Scrapebox has been installed on hundreds of thousands of machines with no issue, Scrapebox wasn't the problem, your VPS was and thats not anything to do with Scrapeboxes fault. Go gripe at your prior VPS provider and ask them to pay the $10 for the hassle. Your complaining at the wrong people here.

If you buy a car and put bad gas in it and have car troubles and then go back to the car dealer and gripe about how your car performed poorly because of bad gas, your not dealing with the issue. The bad gas or bad VPS is the issue, not the car.

I did what you suggested but it is still showing not 404 links as 404

I replied because I was giving my opinion. If you post on a "forum" then you can expect people will give their opinion. A huge portion of BHWs monthly space and bandwidth allocations are full of peoples opinions, lol.

Anyway, I didn't say you shouldn't take it up with support, mail them. I was just giving my opinion. (hence the "my 2 cents" bit)
