Problem Buying On Ebay?

I kind of bumped in on this topic, I think I can provide some help.

I had the same issue last year when buying a new car radio of €350. Back then I was stil repairing iPhones and bought my parts on ebay. Those parts where always less than €100, so the PayPal security flagged the transaction from €350. I called PayPal and they told me that the transaction was unusual and there was nothing they could do. I couldn't pay it through PayPal to my card UNLESS I put the money on my balance first.

so it worked once you had a paypal balance?

i heard many people are having issues with that too and I don't want to put $xxxx for a laptop on a paypal account that is new and a stealth because it could get limited for 180 days

I feel like im the only one that has problems? I see no other threads on this forum or any other forums, I see people complaining but i dont see any solutions.

What is the work around, what is the best payment method? Is entorpay still effective for you for U.S accounts? for me it isnt, how are you dfunding it?

They build of age with there accounts. Paypal has a "bot" that flags accounts for risky behavior.

For example if you try to withdrawal to much money, withdrawal money to often, gift to much esc. Your triggering the high risk because you are on a new account and trying to buy a huge dollar item. This sort of thing usually happens the other way around, its the sellers who have trouble.

Ive read your other ebay post. Was your paypal account banned as well as your ebay account? Because if it was just your ebay account, I dont see why creating a legit paypal with a different bank account wouldnt work for you. Also making a new ebay account.

So this really leaves you with a few options: build age on your paypal account and buying random crap.

Or buy something off craigslist

Well just a minute ago I had to buy some labels and crap for my ebay business and I was able to pay just using a CC. So a high limit gift card might be in your future.

Since this is related to your business I would suggest doing a DBA or an LLC depending on your state. Then I would open a bank account in the business name. IMo stealth bank accounts are not worth it. If you get caught there goes all your loots.

Are you trying to pay with Paypal or by putting in your card info at checkout? If by paypal, look at checkout and see if there is an option to put in your credit card at checkout without using paypal. If there isn't, then that would mean that the seller can't process cc payments through paypal which will give you this error at checkout. If there is an option, have you looked at your pp log to see whether or not your card is being declined? I've gotten that error message when paying by paypal and having my card declined too.

how did you fix it? Were you using a new account?
