AMA: Making Passive Income on Instagram

when you make these calls do you talk off of a script?

I use a pre-written script.

Usually starts by asking who is in charge of teh companies social media or if they have a company instagram account. I offer to consult their account for free for a couple days say 3 days. and if they like the progress I have made then they can hire me for X amount per month.

- Buy pva account
- Rename es. TATTOO XXXX ( XXXX => city)
- Raise them with themed pictures ( eg . Tattoo for resale to the tattoo studio )
- Localize the growth with hashtag city
- To charge customers in order to have the management of the account and not the sale ( considered illegal ) . then the account would always be mine.
I would like to figure out how to not break the tos of instagram, it might be an idea ?

Not really sure what your asking here.

Say it's a restaurant, where do you get all the content for the account?
Or even a gym, do you ask them for lots of pics to post on the IG?

eshelt, are you in any way affiliated with boostgram?

Yea I read it the thread and he didn't respond to any of the accusations so I figured i'd ask him straight up lol

Let me get it straight please, you make around $5000 from 8 clients? Which means you ask almost $625 per client. But how is that possible. How could you convince them that they will get this much value from Instagram.

Honestly speaking I am doing this as well. Currently I have 12 customers - I had over 50 customers in the last one year. I do exactly like you do. what I offer is 60-70 dolars per customer per month. This is not something very new in my city. And I don't offer the cheapest service.

You must be the god of convincing :) Paying $1000 is insane I think.

Yes I offer to take pictures for an extra $250 one time fee. Usually I reccoemend this as I can edit them for the best interactions on the posts.

Glad you asked. I actually have three clients paying $1000 a month. All three are laser hair removal clinics. Each sell their services for well over $1500 so one sale per month to them is nothing in retrospect.

Always ask how much they sell their services for and how much they make profit on them then double it for how much you are pricing them at. Usually a buisness owner will agree if it under 1-2 paying customers per month.

I am a fast talker though so that usually helps a bit.

I am going to start selling my social media management services on here I am focused on building my trusted reputation first though.

Thank you everyone for the questions and thanks on the post also!:cheerlead

First that I've ever heard of these three services. However, Boostagram is currently out of commission it looks like.

Nice method buddy, even some business owners on here may be interested in that service you offer.

If one account ends up being banned, would you just refund them or what? Have they signed an official contract?

Very interesting, may give something similar a try in my city.

Couple quick questions:
1. Do you have your clients sign a contract?
2. Has selling companies IG accounts been worth the effort, opposed to taking control of their own previously established account?

Yea usually refund or I build them a new account up to where they are. I have a simple contract they sign that states I am not liable for damages if the account is deleted.

1. Yes I do.
2. Not really usually just use my pre built account to get them on as a paying customer. Like if they sign a $1000 a month contract I will throw in a free account thats already built up to 5k-10k followers in their region.

Hey eshelt, just wondering what payment types you accept with these clients? Since you meet with them, do you take cash at times or do you have them setup to a monthly subscription somewhere, if so what kind?

I use stripe to process payments and then plasso.com for subscription billing, recipets, and invoicing.
