I will be following along on my sites rankings/profits for everyone to see.
I will not be giving out my keywords or website Url so please do not ask.

http://1unlimited.net/case-studies/ I have every step I have completed listed

If I can not post the URL to the site I will copy the post here. I was just trying to get some input and suggestions on how I can improve this journey.

I am also considering making a Tutorial /Case study on Influence of Pinterest links on a site with no other links pointing to it.

Currently attempting to kill 3 birds with 1 stone.

1. Traffic
2. Social Signals
3. Back Links

How long does Adsense Normally take to Approve a website? I submitted my site a little over a week ago and am still showing your ad is under review.

What steps would you recommend taking to make sure your site is accepted?

Lets see if we can make this thread provide even more use for new members and possibly answer some questions for others as well.

Is that the first time you submitted the website? If you submit few sites before getting any back info it may take longer.

Yes this is a Brand new Adsense account as I normally just provide services to local clients. This is my first time attempting a venture using Adsense at all. No other Website submissions. Though hXXps://support.theBigG.XXX/adsense/answer/9715?hl=en after browsing through this I did find that if your ads are not installed correctly it will stay on the your site is pending review until it detects that ad code. I don't see a verify tool like in Search Console or Analytics to verify it is installed correctly. When I find a way to verify the ad is installed properly I will share it as well.

This will be very interesting to me I see you are using the Colorbold theme. I'm curious to see how you will tackle the overoptimization that can occur with this theme.

Thank You for the heads up. I actually wasn't aware of the Over-Optimization issue with the ColorBold Theme until now. I will look into it and post the solutions I come up with here as well as on the case study itself.

Oh Crap, That is amazing Thank You. Also Sorry for not searching before I asked the question.

Current Status - (feeling kind of noobish)

So after reading the thread above and noticing I haven't received any notification from Adsense at all I checked my theme and plugins and found out my Adsense management plugin might have the code loaded but it will not display it on the pages until I select which pages and conditions for the ad to show on those pages.

Adsense code issue is now fixed

this is interesting. I'm working my way with adsense myself.

Will closely watch your journey.

Best of luck to both of us :D

I also stated first with Adsense journey but didn't continue it :( . Good luck OP!

Thank you I actually added a new ad to the side bar today and have received over 100 visits from organic means already 8)

So it has been awhile since I have updated this due to how busy I have been. We will Now do this in I will update you on changes I have made in between posts instead of a daily format.

On a side note 1 of my other case studies is ranking page 1 for like 50 terms after 2 weeks of being live.

So on to the important stuff. I am really going to test out a few things for everyone to watch.

Over the past week I have:

Set up a Houzz Profile

Built 1 Niche Relevant High PR PBN Link

I used exact match anchor text for my main keyword for the Houzz profile.

I used 1 of my main keywords for the PBN link but not the main one.

Keyword #1 170 Searches Current Rank: 42

Keyword #2 50 Searches Current Rank: 66

Keyword #3 40 Searches Current Rank: 71

Keyword #4 720 Searches Current Rank: 75

Keyword #5 10 Searches Current Rank: 96

Keyword #6 1,300 Searches Current Rank: 150

All keyword are buyer keywords and well worth going for.

Now the interesting part of this is about to begin.

I was bored so I decided why not do a little test with my anchor text. So we now know what the rankings are when I used 1 of my keywords so why not try out the brand next.

I changed my anchor text to my Brand name which is also my domain name as it is an exact match for my main keyword. I then went ahead and submitted the updated page to GSC for indexing.

I will post an update as soon as I see the results in the rankings.
