How long do you suggest warming the account until you can start making big orders?

And secondly, of prime isn't really necessary, then how come you use it/recommend it in your course?

I'm not sure potential buyers would really feel like waiting 5 days to a week to get their items from Amazon. Not to mention that it would probably slow your sales down.

One of the huge points to dropshipping on eBay with Amazon in the first place is prime shipping.

1. There's no "wait x days and then start doing big #'s". It should be a gradual building process (your first three months = a good time frame)

2. We recommend it in our course because we use it. We're teaching you guys exactly what we do

It's also easier to start out DSing with prime because you can get all the $5-10 items (easy to fulfill orders/front money)

All in all, if you look at DSing on eBay as a long term process (think 2-5 years from now), prime isn't going to make a big difference

I have some problem with my paypal account. As i said previously i sold some items on my ebay and didn't had any holds on Paypal, so i was able to buy gift cards and purchase items on Amazon to dropshipp afterwards. By the way, Today i got some 40$ purchase from buyer, i was so excited, clicked on buying gift card and wow.. It says Paypal is holding that 40$ until they review something. What does this means? is it a 21 days hold? or other kind of review.. does anyone had that kind of experience? My reputation depends on this, i want to ship as fast as possible.

You need to contact PayPal ASAP - i'm not sure what this is. Is the account stealth or no?

If you're worried about your rep, pay with your own money or else just email the buyer and say the item is damaged and you can't send it out. You will refund because the supplier is out of stock also.

Well i have full verified PAYPAL account no stealth. Yes i will give it time, also gonna call in Paypal and ask about that, if it's hold, then i think buying with my own money is the way. Thank you

Call PayPal and find out what's going on. If your holds are on, front the money and upload your tracking info. They'll come off three days from now

Never use these reasons. This is exactly what I did when I was first starting out and my accounts fell below standard

If a transaction problem occurs, it should (in eBay's eyes) ALWAYS be the fault of the buyers. You should be thinking about that when drafting your listings templates

Question for the op. The software i am using pulls the titles form amazon and as of now i have just left them as they are. Do you go in and edit all of your titles with things such as, free shipping, New etc?

amazon titles can be much longer than ebay's 80 char limit. usually you need to filter out the garbage to make room for the important keywords

Always worth going in changing titles, description etc for better SEO and better looking listing, makes you look a bit more professional.

Yeah understood i've got over 700 items listed atm. I'm still getting a good amount of sales with the default titles but will have a full day of going through and editing them to make them unique.

Sometimes I see sellers on eBay who are registered in China and most of items are shipped from there, but there are some most selling items from those sellers which are shipped from USA. I guess there is some service , like a warehouse who can receive goods , keep them and ship to buyers

Can you recommend such service provider?
Do you think it's worth?
I plan to ship goods from China to warehouse (if possible) and then sell them to eBay, mostly goods which have high margin

Ok, while technically you are correct, I think this is a bad mindset to start out with. If you do get audited by the tax man it will stressful and time consuming enough to fulfil all the regular demands aside from chasing old invoices. If you get audited a few years in you could literally end up chasing Amazon for thousands of orders.

I'm not an accountant but you should obtain a VAT invoice for all your sales ASAP and should be balancing everything up at least monthly.

So at the end of every month, you should be tallying up eBay sales, PayPal receipts, Amazon orders and VAT invoices. Fixing any errors that arise.

So, read that last line again. Do it for any given full month since you have started trading. Now, multiply that effort by 12 for one whole year and think about what it would be like if you had hundreds or even thousands of transactions a month.

That's the way I plan on doing my accounting. You can choose your method but imho your asking for trouble.

Yeah I'm doing the rest other than no vat invoice, how are you getting that?
