I'm interested in your course as I've been reading through the whole thread and found a lot of golden information combined to other sources.
Registered on the forum to reply, so I can't send PMs for now.

I have as a golden rule to automate everything, and I'm usually not satisfied of a side income until it's fully automated, creating my own tools or finding the best availables.
Im willing to scale this up fast by making as few mistakes as possible, which is why some experience like yours is so incredibly valuable.

Just leaving this here on top of it, but I'm also a senior software engineer in the UK at a top tier company, so if you need some new quality software of features to existing tools you'd be willing to on-board me on, I'd be more than motivated.

Are your prime accounts getting shut down faster lately?

I do the same thing and I used to could get a lot of orders out of them, 3000-5000+ but now they are getting shutdown as low around 200-400.

I know they always tighten up around Christmas, but it certainly seems to be getting worse. Have you noticed this at all? How many order per prime account do you normally get?

Just wanted to start ebay(.com) dropshipping from other US sites, but thing is I'm not from the US, can I still sell stuff on ebay (.com)?
And how would I go about withdrawing the funds from there? I'm completely lost here.

@Newcomers: if you are going to use Prime, be smart about it warm your accounts. Don't jump from buying 0 items a day on Amazon to purchasing 50/day in 1 week

Not for me, it says request invoice or printable order summery, and if you choose that at the very bottom it says this is not a vat invoice?

I spoke to my accountant about it and he said it won't matter. Firstly you only need the invoices for if you actually get inspected which is unlikely anyway and if you do then they're just there to check you're paying the right amount.
Secondly they say you need vat invoices because obviously if you've made 1000 orders from 100 different suppliers its impossible to see whats going on. If all of your purchases are from amazon then its going to be quite clear that you're entitled to claim it back
And thirdly if it comes to it then amazon has to keep all of the vat invoices on record for 6 years anyway so if you get a inspection just ask them for them all lol

Ok, while technically you are correct, I think this is a bad mindset to start out with. If you do get audited by the tax man it will stressful and time consuming enough to fulfil all the regular demands aside from chasing old invoices. If you get audited a few years in you could literally end up chasing Amazon for thousands of orders.

I'm not an accountant but you should obtain a VAT invoice for all your sales ASAP and should be balancing everything up at least monthly.

So at the end of every month, you should be tallying up eBay sales, PayPal receipts, Amazon orders and VAT invoices. Fixing any errors that arise.

So, read that last line again. Do it for any given full month since you have started trading. Now, multiply that effort by 12 for one whole year and think about what it would be like if you had hundreds or even thousands of transactions a month.

That's the way I plan on doing my accounting. You can choose your method but imho your asking for trouble.

Here's a tip:

You can easily download your invoices using the following link, just replace 123-1234567-1234567 with the order id that you want. I think this should probably only work for items purchased from Amazon themselves.

Should make things a little easier for anybody who didn't realise it.

EDIT:: After playing around a bit I noticed that if you try and download an invoice for a non Amazon sale, you get an option to request invoice. You can use the option to request an invoice from the non Amazon seller.

How long do you suggest warming the account until you can start making big orders?

And secondly, of prime isn't really necessary, then how come you use it/recommend it in your course?

I'm not sure potential buyers would really feel like waiting 5 days to a week to get their items from Amazon. Not to mention that it would probably slow your sales down.

One of the huge points to dropshipping on eBay with Amazon in the first place is prime shipping.

Kitchen, Baby, Office, Sports are all really good ones. They're plenty of good categories- Just keep it low risk

I make about $150/day from this and most of it is from Consumer Electronics and a bit of Computer stuff. I like these categories because the eBay fees are lower if you have a store ($20/month).
