And just as I know it guys... Because of my increased in sales this month amazon just hit me with a notice... Basically they didn't give me a warning or anything, but they are concern that I am using prime to dropship.. They gave me a courtesy email, and told me that no actions will be taken as of yet, and I can continue to use prime.. I knew this day would come.. I believe if you have over 80 items purchases with prime in different addresses you will be amazon's target. I did beyond that in less than 5 days without creating another prime trial.. I guess my prime days are over... Back to standard shipping.. Time to edit all of my ebay listings to economy and 3 days handling time. Oh well, atleast my tracking and handling time speed will be enough, and I don't have to worry about amazon banning me and stuff...

You should experiment with VCCs and ordering via proxy to avoid detection.

I have no knowledge of this... Amazon hit me with the notice just in time of me finding a Repricer tool... Sucks.. Prime made me lots of money, but i don't blame them... Technically it's a steal for 100 dollars a year... With all the free fast postage, I think I saved about 10k or more a month in postage.
Kinda makes me wonder.. I rarely place order on my computer.. Today I placed 15 orders on my computer and hours later amazon sent me an email.. I also forgot to log off my Internet browser.. Hmmmm, maybe my browser cookies made it easy for them to track my ipa or something

If you just use standard free shipping then it should be ok with Amazon surely, using the next day prime service will get you in trouble i think. Be interesting to hear what other big time sellers have to say about this.

How are you usually placing the orders then?
To be honest i'd say it's just a coincidence.. Be under no illusion, Amazon are running some serious reporting tools at the backend. I would imagine they are aware of each and every account that is being used to dropship from. They are just running a balancing act between trying to minimise abuse and still profit from the sales that are generated by having their products exposed on eBay.
Somebody on here mentioned removing postal addresses from your Amazon account periodically so you don't have too many. I would say that this makes no difference at all. When you are deleting you are probably just disabling that address in your account, it still exists and is available to Amazon to report on.
If you're worried about postal/reselling warnings from Amazon you need to use stealth buying accounts. A stealth buying account is one that is set up with a VCC (Virtual Credit Card) in "Credit" (not debit) mode. This allows you to set up a prime on trial (or paid). You can then purchase items by topping up the VCC or else buying gift cards.
Access each Amazon account using a proxy server and never use the same VCC / Gift Card across accounts.

I don't think its as much of a problem as you say, at least i hope not. Just use Amazon free shipping and not prime and you should be ok i have spoken to a few big sellers and they never have had any problems but are careful to not abuse it.

Anybody riding the Q4 wave? God I wish I had a repricer to track my items every 30 minutes... My store is currently on vocation mode. I was planning to put it on vacation December 13 but items jumped in price go in and out of stock right before my very eyes.. People are buying faster than cyber Monday days. Until next time................

big sellers use prime. it just requires a balancing act to keep accounts from being closed. once you get the methodology down you can just scale everything up with multiple accounts. i assume this is what they do because there's no way to fulfill so many orders on a single account, let along using prime

Yea I agree with that viewpoint.
When i'm scaling I will build a tool that will know all of my Amazon accounts. The program will then spread my orders out among the various accounts to avoid going to heavy on a single account.

You usually use one piece of software to watch prices on Amazon and compare them to your ebay prices. If the Amazon price changes then you change your ebay price so you still make the same amount of money.
You shouldn't buy Amazon products when the price is low. You should only buy the items when somebody has bought the item from you on eBay. That way there is no risk.
You can buy the products on Amazon manually or automatically. There is software available that can do it automatically, for which you must pay for, unless you can make your own.

I'd like thank OP for this post, it has a wealth of information and has helped significantly. Does anyone else have suggestions about further reading about dropshipping? I'd like to further my knowledge on the subject matter before I jump in head first. I've already created a few stealth accounts and a few paypal accounts.

There isn't really anywhere to suggest other than the like of BHW, WarriorForum for free research etc. You also have the likes of the "Bank with bay" program from Euphorix&Hateandbreak. There are also other programs such as DropShip Domination. These are all paid programs, which I suggest you get if you want accelerated/condensed learning material.
Also, I hope you have researched the creation of truly stealth accounts before creating.
