Ask Any Mass Emailing Questions

BusinessMack, I'd like to ask some specific questions. My questions may be contextually incorrect... as I'm still trying to get a handle on all of this. I understand the 4 elements that you have outlined... I'd just like you to outline them, if you're willing... in a little more detail:
1. Hosting: used for domains and POP3 accounts - How many domains? How often do you rotate the domains? If your offer was sitting on a domain - do you use domain and corresponding email ID as your from (POP3) address? If this gets blacklisted... are you then forced to move to an entirely new domain for your offer? I have a business, I'm not publishing affiliate offers... so I was wondering if using a buffer site (i.e. a different domain with corresponding POP3 domains being from that domain as well)... then introducing them to your main site/offer after dialog via TEAR has been established? Thoughts?
2. TEAR for emailing campaigns. - Very straight forward - zero questions on this one.
3. You mentioned that you use a VPS - can you outline the configuration of that VPS? TheSlug mentions a Dedicated Windows 2012 R2 Server with 8gb of Ram. How many dedicated IPs do you use? Are you rotating them? Do you have a methodology to that rotation process?
4. You mentioned both Amazon and SendGrid. I read all about Amazon last night... and it appears that they put you into their Sandbox for a period of time. So, I guess I'll start with SendGrid. Now for my question. You mention to have 2-3 SMTP services on standby if you get blacklisted. What other services would you recommend as backups? You have been doing this for a long time... how do you not run out of companies to obtain SMTP services from?

This is exactly the post I was looking for! You already replied to most of the questions I have. However, I would like to double check some things so I have a few questions:
Set up.-
1) TEAR, I will use it to send the emails with a gmail account for example, so all the people who reply to that email I will be able to see it on my gmail too? (In that way I can see the emails from my phone)
2) Use a VPS, it is needed to run TEAR, it provides me another IP but it doesnt prevent ban IP?
3) Use SMTP, this is what I dont understand, it will help me to prevent my IP getting banned? and also do I have to set it up with gmail?
Other questions.-
5) So how do I get all my emails to go to inbox? Not sending a url in the first email correct?
6) I want to be able to send 20k email a day, but not everyday. With TEAR + 1 VPS + 1 SMTP, I will be able to do that?
7) Does my emails provide an unsubscribe link?
8) Does TEAR has an option to load all the emails and then send personalize messages? if I have their names

Any other affiliate networks that pay per click for emails sent? The more the better.
Trying to get this stuff in my head so my set up is like this.
1.I use atomic mail sender to send unlimited amount of emails
2. In my email to customers I alternate domains and use redirected just to be sure not any problem with main site
3. I Use a provider of SMTP that offer dedicateded servers and he have all the stuff he need ip rotationen etc etc
So anything I do here is risky or wrong?

You could use your own home computer or laptop. The two main perks of a VPS is a new / separate IP and 24/7 running campaigns. So let's say your traveling or your computer breaks. All your campaigns are still running. That alone makes it 100x worth it. The additional IP is for obvious reasons.
Spam is such a strong word. But if your looking for a good inbox rate at a cheap price I always recommend Sendgrid and Amazon SMTP.

Ok I may be a bit off but this is what I am taking from all this so far. The 3rd party SMTP will cover up the IP mail server of Host Gator correct? The VPS (or VPN) will cover up your physical location IP?
Here is where I get confused a little. Typically when looking at info about mass sending, I always run into information that talks about warming up your IP. IP this IP that... However, it seems like it is more important to focus on building the rep of the domain itself? Is that not the reason for using a 3rd party SMTP in the first place so that we don't need to worry about the IP?
My other question is. What if one of the domains gets some spam complaints and gets a bad rep? Will that affect all the other domains that are hosted on that same server?
Lastly. I have seen you use terms like "98% inboxing". Is there some sort of software that will tell you how much you are inboxing? If not, How would I tell how much I am inboxing? I have a few email accounts that I send to make sure I am inboxing but if there is a better way that would be awesome!

each domain is involved in the chain on which the email travels to the recipient
the recipient mail server checks the chain and records all server though the email has passed
then if there are spam complaints
from the people who receive the msg
the recipient mail server will reduce the rating of the messages sent from this domain or IP
It can be confusing because there's 100 different ways to do the same thing. You can mail from your own server and in that case need to warm up IP's and slowly throttle your emailing speed, while building rep. The best is to pick one way. Usually the most black and white. Master it. And amend it from there.
Here's a nice black and white way:
I have about over 30 mailer domains under the same server and if one's inboxing starts to drop I get a new one and again I see inboxing pick up. Idk the extact facts here so if anyone knows definitely share, but it seems it does not effect the other domains since the SMTP is the mailing IP. This keeps everything very organized. Main SMTP's, sending domains, 1 vps and 1 domain server.
Simple setup anyone can get together in under a week. (Including approval times)
Your SMTP should tell you your emailing stats. TEAR can tell you some stats like opens which it needs to email leads again that ignored you

How do you create a list?
Like, I tried to create one through Mailchimp but most of the people dont confirm there email, is there anyway i could just get their email IDS without having them confirm it? I know i might get fake IDS because of this but its better than getting nothing i guess?

Getting fake emails will do much more harm than good due to all the strict mailing policies. Your result will be getting your accounts shut down and blocked. As it was stated in a previous post Mail chimp is designed for opt in list building which is a whole other subject. Here we are talking about mass sending to a list that you already own. For example if you had an excel sheet with 100k emails. If you don't already have a list then that is your first step. You need to learn how to get targeted lists first. If they are not targeted then again that will land you with more harm than good. The most popular way to get a list is by "scraping" You must then make sure all your emails are verified. If too many of your mails do not go through you will be blocked and shut down. If your mails are not opened enough you will be blocked and shut down. If you get a tiny handful of spam complaints you will be blocked and shut down. That is the reason these tools exist. I would suggest you reread this entire thread and do extensive research on any parts of it that you don't understand.
