Arvixe review (spoiler: they are Sheit!)

Arvixe is terrible, I got my account suspended, turns out I nedded to pay the renewal, so it was Ok with me, after I paid I noticed, my account remained blocked, so I created a ticker and I finded out it was blocked by email-spaming, which I found weird since I never send e-mails using any of my sites. And because of the records I determined I was hacked... Its been a week since then, and after sending various emails and contacting support numerous times my account remains blocked, and now I cannot acces any of the services to contact support (Its like it banished), I also had ask paypal for a refund since Arvixe's no willing to coperate, and I invested a good amount of money for their services.
Please DO NOT use arvixe, or any hosting service by EIG

By the way I'm looking for a good web howsting company with server characteristics comparable to arvixe (or better), any sugestions are welcome

I have to agree. Arvixe is terrible, even horrible. As I write my server is hacked with WSO 2.5. I've alerted the idiots to it but after 3 weeks, i still can't restore my wordpress site without finding the hack's footprints.

I've since done dozens of WP installs but each time the plugins page cant be found and adding new theme page cant be found. Before I took my site down, I couldn't change passwords without it being changed again by the hacker within a few minutes. Support is non-existent. I have recently called dozens of times and waited for as long as 30 minutes all the while having to listen to the crappy music they play while you wait. I just tried the chat but I'm number 97 in line. Estimated wait time is 97 minutes, yeah right. Please stay away from this hosting company. They really, I mean REALLY SUCK!!!

yep, they never responded my calls and the only thing they say in the chat is that the issue will be solved as soon as posible (yeah right) I'm just wating for the to reactivate my account so I can make a backup and move on to another server.
Have you have any good experience with other hosing companies?

I recently got a .com domain from 1&1 for 18 cents and they followed up with offering me a year's hosting for $11.88 so I'm trying them. Can't go wrong for those prices.

Who said Arvixe is not good? I buy their hosting every single time I want a free Bing or Adwords coupon LOL. It's only a few $$$.
That said, yes their hosting sucks.

I don't think they will, Im just waiting for the refund, what bothers me is all my hardwork loss, I guess I'll have to begin form scratch

I think I tried to sign up with them once but didnt in the end so that was lucky.
I use a2 hosting and also hostwinds and they are both good.

Any EIG hosting company seems to be shit. I don't understand how IMers use and recommend Host Gator or anything similar. It's like telling people to go swim in crap when there's a perfectly clean pool down the street.

If someone recommends HG to me I never take them seriously ever again.

I use StableHost. I pay more for my hosting but it's totally worth it to me. They respond to my inquiries within minutes and I've had zero problems out of them since I switched to them 6 months ago.

Btw if you was hacked and was sending spam.. it is your issue and will be with any provider.

I too have some bad experienced with Arvixe webhosting before. So i move to another host.

Mosty my traffic comes from the US, I understand the mailing thing, but charging befero the adressed the issue was a sneaky move, also its been a week and a half since my account was blocked.

Just be more careful with the security of your pc/websites. No one like spams

I don't know any good provider in USA. The good one are really expensive and the cheap one are with "datacenter" in their garage ( I'm actually not kidding can prove that with photos).

If you are on need of shared hosting then go with Qhoster.com (I had VPS with Qhoster... was nice.. nothing special) or HostWinds.com they are good for shared but for VPS won't suggest to use them.

If you are on need of VPS then you can check www.webuzo.net European offshore provider , pure ssd , 100Mbps bandwidth, no downtime BITCOINS <3 and Paypal accepted. Adult content allowed (no child) , sharing sites etc etc..
