I too purchased the plugin, about a week ago, and have not been able to get it to work. I have been working with the support team, and they've been very responsive which I really appreciate, but it just is not working appropriately for me.

The issues I'm seeing are:

- On desktop, if I trigger it and click the X on the modal when I'm not logged into Facebook, it prompts me to log in more than half of the time (it's not supposed to ever).
- On mobile devices, the modal pops up and is half way off the screen. Also, I cannot tap the x. It eventually disappears though.

I tested 10 different themes (1 paid, 9 free), and 2 different hosting providers, but have been unable to get it to work. I saw the same exact behavior with the plugin with every theme & hosting provider.

Is anybody willing to share what hosting & theme they're using, if it is working correctly, so I can figure out how to get this working?

The FB Like Jacking Ninja support team was very generous in offering a refund if we're unable to get it to work correctly, but I'd really just rather figure out a way to make it work because it sounds like a killer plugin.

Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.

i drive a ton of traffic from my social media so everyone will land on my post instead of the home page? do i have to go edit each individual post and paste the url i want to likes to end up at or does the default url work for my entire website not just the home page?

It's working for me and I use Bluehost with the Metro Pro Studiopress and Genisis Child themes. I've not had any issues. Could it be conflicting with any of your plugins?

Hi, the Jackers settings allow for you to enter a default FB page or website URL that you want the Likes for. The Jacker also offers the option of choosing a different URL or FB page to be Like Jacked for every post/page that you have on your site. But if you don't set a specific FB page or website URL to be Like Jacked for a post or page on your site then the Jacker will fall back on the default FB page or website URL that you set.

Hi, you can use that option although you will have a much higher Like Jacking rate if you use the Modal Box option instead.

To be honest, opening a ticket or updating your ticket and then posting about it on this thread doesn't really serve any purpose. We know you have updated your ticket and we can see the error message which means one of the support staff will respond to the ticket with the simple solution to that issue.

The thread is run for pre-sales and sales. We use the support desk for customer support and after sales care. The two are separate and I don't man the support desk although I do actively oversee things there as that's part of running the business

Hi, the plugin doesn't pick and choose when it wants to work and when it doesn't. If it's working then it's working When we created the Jacker we built in a number of options of how the user would prefer their traffic to be like jacked. The preferred option is the modal box because, and as I have stated many times throughout this thread, when the modal box appears it creates the natural reaction of your sites visitors to want to close that box asap which is the intention of the box.

As soon as that box is closed by a visitor on your site they are Like Jacked. This option also Like Jacks a higher percentage of your sites traffic because if a visitor arrives at your site and 'bounces' they are still going to get like jacked because they will instinctively close the modal box before clicking away from your site.

So the modal box is able to catch those who bounce from your site unlike any of the other jacking methods. Although you can choose any of the options for Like Jacking your traffic, if you choose the modal box you will have a much higher success rate.

Not every visitor that comes to your site is going to click a link or a pic or a video and some just aren't going to click anywhere on your page. And for all of those visitors the Jacker won't be able to Like Jack them unless you're using the Modal Box option which, as explained above, gives a much higher Like Jacking success rate.

Also it has popped up on each page making the site difficult to navigate naturally . Would love in the future to have some customization modal box such as duration to popup after navigation, and cookie settings so it does not show the popup to users who have clicked out already.

Here's the skinny on the modal box and why we made it an option. It's a given that 99% of pop-up boxes/windows on websites are an annoyance and the makes the visitor just want to close it regardless of what the content it.

Based on this we added in the "modal box" jacking option whereby the Like Jack happens when the user closes the box which is the default response to the vast majority of all pop-ups. To make sure that action is taken by the user we suggested adding in a simple message in to that box such as "Thanks for visiting our site". The pop-up and the message is of zero interest to the user and they instantly go for the close button asap and that is exactly what you want them to do because that is when they get Like Jacked.

To be honest there is no real reason why you should need to place an opt-in form in the modal box. It's not the purpose of that box and not what it was designed for really. The modal box is part of the Like Jacker and is designed to be so. It's not really meant for displaying ads or opt-in boxes.

What do you want the modal box to achieve? To get the visitor Like Jacked? To display an ad for them to click on? To display an opt-in form for them to get on your mailing list?

The purpose of the modal box is to get your visitors Like Jacked and to use it for any other purpose is kind of defeating the object of having the like jacker installed on your site.

That's the bottom line and truth of the matter.

Hi, that's a bit of a non-starter of a post really. We can't identify you and your support issue from your post or your forum ID. You've not said anything about the issue your facing, when you contacted support, when they replied or what they replied with.

What can I say to your post? Honestly, if you need to post something regarding help and support which involves your lack of satisfaction with support then at least provide some details about the matter. All your post has done is taken a blind swing at our support while providing you with total anonymity.

I don't mind you posting here if you're not happy with support but let's play fair here, we're all grown ups
