Just wanted to post my experience here.
I paid for this plugin and it crashed my website the same day I bought it.
I asked for a refund that I was denied, but he gave me a "fix" instead, but I was too busy to test it out.
Couple of months later I install the plugin on 8 of my sites taht crash as expected, I use the fix and another crash happens.
I kindly ask for a refund and buy another plugin in the meantime,
I was told to go create and submit a ticket on their website and talk to another support guy.
After that and a lot of unprofessional handling of the situation I have to prove I bought it, when and they couldn't find me in the system etc.
After a long discussion it ends with the support insisting on not refunding me as it took over 30 days to ask for a refund.
This is the worst plugin I have ever tried and the only one that crashed my sites. This has not only wasted $my money, but also hours of my time trying to fix the issues and chatting back and forward, proving I bought it and who I am and taking screenshots etc.
I would highly recommend to stay away from this plugin guys, I don't like leaving bad reviews but I feel like sharing and honest opinion of my experience to better the BHW community.
Hi and thank you for posting your experience of the plugin of which I am happy to respond to this here as there are two sides to everything.
We ask all customers to submit a ticket to the support desk as that is how we provide and manage support to customers. It's no biggie of a deal to create a ticket and it's common practice. We have a support desk manned by staff who manage our support for us. It's the way to manage a business which allows to to grow the business too.
And, yes, when a customer submits a ticket we ask them for their license key so we can verify their ownership of the plugin by cross referencing their license key with the customer order details of that key. We have now been forced to do this thanks to a number of customers buying a 50 site license key and then sharing it (actually selling access to it) with 49 other people. We won't support those who have accessed a key which they didn't buy from us and this is our way of preventing those 49 other people from getting support from us for something they didn't purchase from us.
Anyway, I digress....
The issue that you reported to us initially wasn't one that had crashed your website and the solution resolved the issue. I am sorry that you were too busy to try out the fix to the issue for a month. You said in your support ticket that the plugin cashed your site and caused you major problems but you still went ahead and installed it on seven more of your websites. When you were asked for more details of this site crash you refused to talk about it. In fact you were asked a few times about the issues you were having with the plugin and you flatly refused to tell us anything about them.
You said you didn't have time help us debug the plugin and didn't want it to crash your site again although took the time to install it on seven further sites after it had crashed your first site. I explained that we didn't need you to spend any of your time helping us and just to explain what the actual issue was. But you refused to explain anything about the apparent issue/crash.
You purchased the Like Jacker from us on April 30th 2015 and in the ticket thread you requested a refund on July 12th. The Jacker, like all of our products, has a 30 day money back policy that if we can't resolve the issue you're experiencing with the plugin then we'll happily refund you but the time between your purchase and refund request is far in excess of 60 days. After this time period the refund options are removed from PayPal (by PayPal) and from JVzoo (by JVzoo).
Also, you said in your ticket that you already asked for a refund in this thread but if you check back you'll see that the only post you made was asking for the discount code on April 26th (and you purchased the plugin 4 days later). Your first request for a refund was actually made in the support ticket and that was on July 12th.
Due to the date you requested the refund, which is more than 60 days since you made your purchase, the fact that we did give you a fix for the issue you were facing (which was the old country code fix which would under no circumstances have crashed your website) and then the fact that you still refused to explain anything about the plugin supposedly crashing your site (which is something the plugin won't do) then it does mean you aren't eligible for a refund.
