Since version 42 or 43, or to be more precise since around 18th of June, the automator won't execute external programs. My custom scripts were not running for a while now since I updated to 42 or 43 (not really sure which since 43 came out pretty soon after 42) and this made a real mess on my server.

Can you inspect this please?

This issue was already fixed and will be in the upcoming 2.0.0.44 version of ScrapeBox.

So there's no way to make the batch poster not post the title in the article?

Correct. If the title is important then you would need to use the single article poster. The idea of the batch poster is mass posting and posting the entire article as the article is the best way. Because there is no way to guarantee what the user intends to be the title in the batch poster without editing each article and if your going to do that you defeat the point of the batch poster. So no, you can not not post the entire text file as the article, which will include whatever you are intending to be the title.

The thing is, I have hundreds of articles saved in seperate .txt files which I need to post to a wordpress site. Do you know any other way of doing it?

Hey, I have a question about proxies and scrapebox. I have 10 private proxies. Now, Do I use these for scraping or use the proxies I scraped with scrapebox? Do I only use google passes proxies to scrape from google? if that's the case and if I am scraping multiple sources can I have google passed proxies and transparent proxies in the proxies manager and scrapebox will know to use the google passed proxies with the google search engine and the other transparent proxies with bing and yahoo?

You can use them for Scraping, but you will need a delay if you plan to scrape google with them and probably most other engines. Unless your scraping from a load of sources and have it set to 1 connection then it might just be slow enough in general to not need a delay.

You do need google passed proxies to scrape google, but also google has different bans. So some proxies pass the google test, which tests for basic keyword search, but are blocked for advanced operators.
I have a video that further explains this here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9CbGhfc1aY

Proxies are not "marked" in Scrapebox as google passed or X or Y passed etc... So if you load in a bunch of proxies, half of them google passed and half not and scrape google and bing for example, then Scrapebox will try and use all proxies for both engines.

You can run an unlimited number of instances simultaneously though, so you can simply fire up 2 instances, 1 for other engines and load in non google passed proxies and 1 for google and load in google passed proxies. Again if you are only talking about your 10 private proxies then most of this is mute as you should just use a delay and 1 connection, but if your talking public proxies then it applies.

Oh yeah thank's gonna donate some moniez to a warrior kid

Guess i'll just write my own script

Did you read 1 above your post? Softtouch2009 is one of the people that writes code for Scrapebox, he said they are working on a solution.

*Feels Time* i remember the first time that i saw scrapebox 5 years ago on this thread... scrapebox is still rocking! :D

does scrapebox allow to only comment on post that just posted 24hours ago ?

There is no filter in Scrapebox that would set this. As noted above there is the google filter but of course google doesn't crawl every site every day and may not find a post till days or weeks or in some cases months, after its posted.

You could use the page scanner and scrape a load of pages via the link extractor or by crawling the site and then look for a certain date(s) with the page scanner.

Or if the format is the same you use the data grabber to extract the dates and then sort them in excel and load back in the dates you want.

Its all a little subjective as you can make the posting date in wordpress whatever you want, but with some work you could possibly do it, but you would have to be quick. 24 hours is a narrow time frame to be doing all that.

We are working on a solution.

Saw that you already added it, sweet

However I'm using a dot (.) in my title and it seems to be cutting the title where the dot is, and then post the rest of the article including the spin syntax

May I ask to please hurry with pushing this update? My servers can't scrape without my scripts running. Everything is at hold for weeks now because of this.

Thanks!

Hi

I don't see Scrapebox Blog Analyzer Addon. I used version 2.0.0.43. Do I miss anything? Thanks.

The Blog Analyzer has been retired because it was no longer useful. ScrapeBox now has a lot of platforms, far more then the Blog Analyzer covered. The Page Scanner addon http://www.scrapebox.com/page-scanner can do everything the Blog Analyzer used to do, plus it does a whole lot more. We have included a list of platforms ScrapeBox can post to and a few other popular ones you can use in the Page Scanner for analyzing and identifying platforms:

C9hZ0FP

The Page Scanner can use tokens, regex and analyze blogs and websites for anything not just what platform they are. Not only that it's fully editable so you can customize anything you need.

Edit: The default proxy sources have been refreshed and number of sources increased, they will be automatically available just by restarting ScrapeBox.

So if you run it wihtout proxies it works fine? That would mean that the proxies are not working correctly/dead/bad. But as a general rule, unless your only link checking a large number of urls from the same domain or same few domains, you do not need proxies for link checking. Further using proxies for link checking in almost every case will slow down Scrapebox and leave behind valid links that are marked as not found because of a bad proxy.
