I bought scrapebox because I really wanted to bulk check "Allintitle:" searches.
However, the "Competition Finder" only works when I don't use proxies. If I use proxies I always get a "-1 Error".
I have changed proxies about 5 times and got the same error. Anybody know a workaround?

If you want to check each word separately they need to each be on a new line. But if you want to try and register a vanity name that's several words long then yes you will need to either add dashes or remove the space and make it all one word.
But at all depends on each platform what they support for example Twitter uses underscores like twitter.com/scrape_box but i don't think they support dashes. So the URL you are checking needs to be valid for the platforms you are using.
I just tested the Google Competition Checker addon and done allintitle: and allinurl: checks using proxies from 3 providers and they all worked. Are you using free proxies? If so they are likely blocked, because currently the addon is working.

After changing the settings, I get most of them finishing the check but few are still blank or just went partial way (example: stopped at 30 or 60 instead of finishing the 200).
The better proxies you'll have, the less connections and the higher delay will give you better results.

I have reset the modem and whitelisted the scrapebox maybe you should give a try too

Yes. My settings are checking up to 200 results per search term.In a nutshell, you still get blanks!?

Just wanted to bump this up a bit as this has been happening for the last few weeks for me too. I have mentioned it in a post few weeks ago. I suppose this is due to temporary and minute downtimes in the SB server. It does not affect usage as once SB is loaded, it does not close automatically even if it is not able to connect to the server. So, this issue is not a major one but perhaps there is any downtime even if minimal in the SB server.
I do not think it has to do anything with your installation if I understand the message correctly.
@tenclouds are you able to load scrapebox normally. If you can do so, this popup on the background does not affect the scraping or usage of the software from what I have noticed in the last few weeks. If you are not able to load Scrapebox temporarily, try loading again after a few minutes and it should work fine.
I'm not sure how it works with updates so this might be a stupid question but I just updated Scrapebox to the lastest version and I've tried restarting a few times but it's still the old Automator plugin. Server version in the update window still says 2.0.0.25

You can see the pingdom reports on servers. 1 and 2 are the license servers. They have been perfect with 1 minute checking intervals. So its probably something local that is causing the issue, like your router or security software etc...

You can try to uninstall it and reinstall it. Also make sure write permissions are enabled for the scrapebox folder.

Thanks for the pingdom link. I would check in my VPS too.
Anyways, this is not a major issue as Scrapebox never crashes due to this error. It is just a popup that remains in the background which I only see when all other tools including Scrapebox is minimized. This does not affect the performance of SB in any way. =)
I uninstalled and installed the plugin several times while restarting Scrapebox in between. Now I downloaded the latest version of Scrapebox from the website and saved it into a new folder. Unfortunately it still says 2.0.0.25 as latest version in the plugins window.
No one else having the same problem?

Hey guys....... I'm having trouble using the Article Scraper Premium Plugin. I got Wwordpress to work for article posting but I can't post to Blogspot blogs, I keep getting an error ? what do I put as username my gmail email and password... Please Help!
