Due to High Demand for a Newbie Friendly Tutorial on setting up your WordPress website on a VPS.

I am finally here with an easy step by step method to help out those, who want to migrate their websites from shared hosting to cheap unmanaged VPS servers because of their raw power and affordability.
Remember the Best Hosting for WordPress is WordPress VPS - Powered by Nginx

Below is a Step by Step tutorial personally made by me  Enjoy...!!!

Requirements

  1. A VPS with at least 512MB RAM [ 1GB RAM recommended ]
  2. [ BEST VPS PROVIDER —> DIGITALOCEAN <— Get 10$ free credit using someone's referral link ]
  3. I recommend KVM to OPENVZ, KVM has dedicated resources while OPENVZ is fully shared...Don't be carried away by the big numbers of a OPENVZ VPS
  4. VPS should be installed freshly with Ubuntu 12.04 or 14.04 / Debian 6 or 7
  5. Little Bit of concentration while reading my tutorial
Note: OPENVZ will create many issues while trying to setup WordPress on it using this tutorial, Stick with KVM, Everything will go smooth. You will not face any issues on KVM with my tutorial

What problems are you seeing with OpenVZ? Must admit 90% of the VPSes I use are OpenVZ and I am yet to see any problems when installing Wordpress on them.

I mean my Tutorial will cause errors on some OPENVZ Boxes.....Moreover KVM is true Virtualization while OPENVZ is not :(
