On page 4 of the PDF, in the trouble shooting section is the following advice;

The Emtpy Needle Error:

This issue doesn't happen too often and it because of an issue with some webhosting companies. After you have set up the plugin you see something similar to the following code appear at the top of your sites posts/pages;

Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Empty needle in home/USERNAME/public_html/wp-content/plugins

You will need to enter a country abbreviation code in the Like Jacker settings. We're not 100% why this happens on some webhosts but the fix is really easy. In the Like Jacker settings for the Geo targeting you simply add the abbreviation code for a random country and click "save". You can use ‘AF' for Afghanistan or any code of your choice but remember, the country that you enter in here means the Like Jacker won't Like jack any visitors from there.

A full list of country codes can be found here:

Simply use the 2 letters for the countries you want to block getting Likes from.

Another option to solve this is to close any empty country code boxes that are showing which are empty. In the welcome email that is sent to customers we always ask that they read the user guide and watch the video for the plugin before installing and using the plugin as it can save you some valuable time when issues like this arise.

LikeJacking, I have seen some issues with Using Mac on chrome having compability issues when user clicking on close its getting another popup of facebook and doesnt like that page


Secondly Getting model box when user has already liked it


Third When Once User Clicking Close on Model Popup and when its getting liked then also when user referesh or come again its showing that model box everytime


Fourth I have seen another issue, that when user is not logged in facebook still the popup is coming.


Please Kindly Do Respective

add this too in my issues. when user is not logged in its shows model box. and when user trys to close that model box facebook login page popsup

As we have always said on the thread here, although you can post your support issues we cannot deal with them on here as we will need to ask you for information about your WP install that you won't be able to post on the thread as that info is sensitive. I see that you have sent me the same information via PM too.

Have you contacted the support desk with this information as all support issues are dealt with by the team there. All of these issues can easily be resolved by support.

I also have a question. Country limit option now works with selecting the countries you dont want to work with. But i only want the plugin to work for 2 countries. Does it mean i have to fill in every country int he world except those 2?

Would be better if i just could select the 2 countries of my liking and auto block the rest. Would that be possible?

Last question: Could you also provide me with the Ip ranges of the FB staff?

Hi, I can send you the code via PM. The easiest way to not prevent getting Likes from certain countries on the whole is to restrict the access to your FB page within your FB page settings. By restricting your page to only USA and Canada (for example) would mean that the Jacker would not be able to Jack Likes to your page from traffic outside of these two countries.

If you didn't want to do this then another option is to look at the analytics of your site and see what countries your traffic is coming from and then block those on the list that you don't want traffic from. If there are countries on that list which you only receive a handful of visitors from each month then I wouldn't even bother blocking those in the Jacker settings.

I would focus on the top ten countries that send you traffic and just block those from that list that you don't want Likes from.

As for a list of FB staff IP's, we don't have a list like that and if we made it public then FB would simply change the IP's that their staff use to make the list useless. As far as I am aware that kind of list isn't publicly available.
