Hi Matt and SweetFunny, got a question.
Im not sure what's wrong with SB V1 with custom harvester, only using google to scrape with 50 threads.
I have the option checked to autoload and reaload proxies from a file, the v2 does start but looks like it stops with a endless loop at status "proxy refresh". While V1 won't even start the scrape.
Using public proxies.
Maybe my VPS is too weak, only 2gb of ram?
Any idea?

All the socket code in ScrapeBox v2, the addons and plugins has IPv6 support already. You can harvest from http://ipv6.google.com, you can use the Alive Checker on IPv6 sites, and so on see below:

However, at the moment proxies in IPv6 format are not supported, they use : in the address which ScrapeBox uses to separate the IP and port of IPv4 proxies. Also the proxy tester and judges would need to be changed to accommodate the different format of IPv6 proxy addresses. But right now IPv6 proxies are rare and generally have bandwidth limits too low to make them usable. Once they become more mainstream SB could support them.

I just setup a harvest to load proxies from a file every 5 minutes and there was no issues, every 5 minutes the threads went to zero, it re-loaded the proxies from the file and the amount of available proxies changed and it kept harvesting. After 30 minutes and 6 times successfully reloading the proxies and harvesting without missing a beat it reached the end harvesting all keywords.

So it's all working exactly as intended with everything i try. Maybe you are doing something different, does your file actually have working proxies in it, is the file being locked by another process?

The above settings are properly setup, it's not something im doing first time. Maybe the file is being locked by another process since i have a tool that scrapes and exports the proxies into the same file. How can i test if the file is locked?

Ok the best way to troubleshoot this is to eliminate this other proxy program completely so we are not chasing problems in some other software and then this makes it really simple to test.

Create a text file with notepad and add a bunch of proxies, tell ScrapeBox to refresh from this file every 5 minutes and start harvesting.

After it starts, open the text file in notepad and delete a bunch of proxies and then resave the file and shut it. Now just wait for the harvester timer to tick over 5 minutes and you will see it say refreshing proxies, and you should see the number of proxies change depending on how many you manually deleted from the file. Mine went from 1,161 to 1,023 because i deleted 138 proxies from the file.

So it's easy to see it did reload the proxies from file correctly at the specified 5 minute refresh time.

My license was not used for years, recently activated since I got back into the game. It was deactivated 8 days ago. Server check all green, only the red notice of no valid license found, same as the previous poster. Mine was working about a week without problem before this happened.

Contacted support and 3 hours later and got response like this:

The reason it's not working is because the machine it was transferred to has been blacklisted due to a previous PayPal unauthorized account access chargeback. 

Could you tell me why this is?"

Ever since, every mail I sent simply got ignored, no response for 2 days now. At first I though the "Could you tell me why this is?" he is simply asking for information, but now to think of it, it seems at that time he already decided that I'm a hacker/fraud and simply mocked me.

were you the one who purchased from Vietnam with a USA credit card which was reported as unauthorized by the account holder and repurchased with another account?

It seems to me like a witch hunt is in process, someone cause you guys to loose money and now random paying customers got picked for the fall.

you won't probably make much headway getting the license issue resolve here on the forum. Check your spam folder as they always have responded in 24 hours for years and years now.

Where else to go if the support simply ignore you? Doesn't seems to have any option for me.

SB is the best invention ever made for seo and I told everyone to get it if thats the only thing he can afford in seo tools. The first thing I fired up is SB when I decided to get back into the game. You both have my highest respect and gratitude, I learned a lot and benefits from what you guys made and shared.

What pissing me off are the support guys. My license already paid and cleared for years ago right? I mean what chargeback when the payment was cleared many years ago? I don't know what happened or who causing chargebacks, but it is simply not right to deactivate an already paid license just because you can and without laying down the proof or explanation at all.

A random witch hunt? Sorry, there's nothing random about your IP address and PC ID trying to activate a license that was charged back due to unauthorized account access and then not even 2 hours later trying to activate another license under a completely different name/email on exactly the same machine and IP address.

Quite happy to post all the logs, names/emails and details from PayPal. But the takeaway is this, if you try and activate a license that has been charged back or reversed due to unauthorized account access do not bother trying another license it's not going to run on that machine.

There's nothing random about your IP address and PC ID trying to activate a license that was charged back due to unauthorized account access and then not even 2 hours later trying to activate another license under a completely different name/email on exactly the same machine and IP address.

Now I get it. "The chargeback" was actually this:

In 2011 when I tried to bough SB, paypal automatically put the transaction under review, instanly after I got the receipt. Paypal then send query to the seller (you) asking for response. I instantly contacted SB Support (with screenshot of paypal message), explaining what happened.

A week went by, no response at all from support to my email. Paypal sended 3 queries to seller and no response too. Paypal won't let me proceed with that account and there was nothing I can do.

I then proceed buying SB with my other Paypal Account. Problem solved. I need to use SB for my project, got it and that was the end of it for me.

Fast forward to friggin 4 years later, I searched my mails and I found the receipt of SB purchase. I tried activating SB, when it didn't work, I even emailed asking why my license didn't work and support said the transac was cancelled, so there is no license. I then search my emails and got the other actually paid and cleared transac, activated and around a week later got deactivated. And now I know it was cause by using "the failed" transac id in the first place.

The point here is, it was not me who initiated the reversal.

It was put under review randomly by Paypal for security check. You can consult with some Paypal Experts if you have doubt about this random security check procedure and I will be more than happy to know the official reason why they put that under review. I got the screenshot of Paypal saying that they selected the transaction for review, which I did send to SB suppot back then.

Quite happy to post all the logs, names/emails and details from PayPal. But the takeaway is this, if you try and activate a license that has been charged back or reversed due to unauthorized account access do not bother trying another license it's not going to run on that machine.

As am I, very happy to post all emails discussions including the timeline of days being ignored, screenshot and details from paypal, way back from 2011 to backup what I said above.

I don't even realize that failed transac had any significant at all, I thought it was simply cancelled. When support said that my machine was blacklisted due to unauthorized access chargeback, I wouldn't have the faintest idea, I though my laptop was hacked!

The ball is now back to you sweetfunny! I simply asking how can I re-activate and use the license I paid for since 4 years ago. I prefer not to re-format my laptop and waste more time, but if that what you want or you want to permanently disable my license, then so be it and let me know. At least I know what or how instead of wondering.

I have a suggestion: on the "grab links by crawling a site"-feature, add a "use urls from file"-option, to make bulk crawling possible.

Another suggestion: make it possible to filter out urls, if some part of the url (set by the user) is not unique. Like if you have urls that looks like this:
community.com/*username*/post1234.html

then you obviously want the *username*-part to be unique.

could be used for subdomains aswell.

Thanks for the reply Loopline. Most issues were fixed after the last update but this Error 0 keep bugging me. I used to scan millions with no issues before, now i get this Error 0 in Sb link extractor after xx,xxx urls scanned. I didnt change any settings, i use private proxies and the best internet connection money can buy.

The weird thing is that i get this error in both version of Link extractor x32 and x64. i have dedicated hardware to run sb and other seo softwares and the only software that can interfere is the AV which is avast. I've added Sb as a trusted program and gave it full access. Anyway I've emailed support but if you have any solutions it will be highly appreciated.

1.) Its due to the file being in a format such as Ansi and not having a BOM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte_order_mark), so when SB tries to import and there is no BOM it gueses its a Unicode file. At that point it only can import urls up to the first unicode character. Anyway, I had the same issue and they are working on a fix already, or I think its done rather, but it won't come out till the next update of course.

2.) I think you would have to mail support on this and send them example files. Or post a small url list here that does it.

3.) Again, same as #2.

4.) When you say it happens randomly, does it happen consistently on the same list? Or sometimes the list works and sometimes it doesn't? Make sure you have the link extractor set as trusted/allowed in all security software. Error 0 is a localized error and in almost all cases isn't an error with Scrapebox but an error where something 3rd party is acting Scrapebox or its threads/memory etc.. and causing the error. So try closing down any unneeded programs as well.

Well as a test you could backup your avast settings (if thats possible with avast) and then just uninstall it and try it. It has been know to cause issues with SB.

In fact, i haven't benefit from the tool since i bought it. The auto blog comment isn't working for me, and the manual poster also have some issues concerning Javascrip.

First, the issues with your proxies. Did you save your real IP address in your proxy providers dashboard to authenticate your PC with their system to allow you to use the proxies? If not you need to do that.

Second, if you were given a free license from a friend or bought a license off someone and not from us then you will need to contact whoever you bought it from for support for the license. We do not support reselling/swapping/trading licenses.

There's currently no issues with the Google harvester, i just done a test and got fast speeds. The screenshot shows you have 52 footprints, maybe these footprints are very specific and dont have a lot of results. Also you are using over 2k free server proxies as well, these are working proxies not tested against Google. They are good for usage in just about every search engine "except" the one you are using them for. If you have 100 private proxies i'd drop the connections from 500 to something more reasonable and remove the 2k free proxies.

On the harvesters keyword memo click More >> Randomize Keywords.

Here you can also synonymize keywords and expend them with the built in synonym database, wrap keywords in quotes, remove quotes from keywords, reduce keywords, remove dupes, remove keywords containing specific text, remove keywords not containing specific text and so on.

Sounds good. Error 0 is a odd sort of error, it means there was a tcp error but that windows doesn't know what it was. In your case it could be security software triggering based on some content or the ulr its self for example, so try it with your A/V uninstalled as a test, as you noted.

It could be some other issue. For instances on 1 of my VPS I recently pushed the connections limit that windows can handle too high, so there was no buffer space available, aka no connections could be made. I was running a load of things at once, but its just the point that sometimes its something simple like that.
