how does the keyword scraper work?
when does a source of keywords stop (error, red status)?
I use all the options to scrape KWs from.
google, android and youtube loves to block(403 from error log) my ip(proxies disabled) when I scrape a couple of thousands keywords, from a hundred keywords as a "seed list", with the basic connection settings of 50 threads
on another instance I use 30 private proxies(proxies enabled) to scrape again from all sources and the scrape doesn't always ERR out.

Does it stop when one IP is blocked, or does it go through all proxies(if enabled)?

How does the error work?

Yes it stops when it errors out or when its done scraping. The new .41 that is just out has 3 proxy retries, else it will stop when it gets an error if your using an older version.

Yes its still working. You could try again or you could contact paypal. In the past when I have seen this its been something with paypal and the end users account, not with the site etc...

The most important feature to congratulate in scrapebox v2 has to be the get proxies from txt file. What I really like about it is that it constantly monitors the file for changes and updates the proxies immediately as it changes. This works beautifully with any proxy scraping tool like: Proxy Multiply or the newest GSA Proxy Scraper.

I'd like to suggest a feature that will seal the deal with scraping with scrapebox+proxy scraper. That's dynamic threads based on proxies. If I tick this:

Change threads dynamically based on proxies

in my options, the threads will increase/decrease each time the proxies get updated from the text file.

Example: If there are 30 proxies being used from the file during the harvest session the threads would be 30. The moment the proxies get updated during the harvest session to 40 the threads will increase to 40 as well. If for some reason the proxies go to 5 the threads in scrapebox will decrease to 5 as well.

This is very important because you can never predict how many google passed proxies will the proxy scraper tool produce. I'm not concerned if they get above my previously set threads, but if the proxies decrease below the threads amount. Then all of the proxies will get burned very quickly resulting in stalling the whole harvesting session.

An upgraded addition to this feature would be a proportional setting between proxies and threads.

Dynamically change X threads : X proxies.

If you set this value to

"5 threads : 1 proxy"

it will use 5 times the amount of threads per proxy. Also if you set it to

"1 thread : 3 proxies"

it will use only 1 thread per 3 proxies.

Im not having issues. How much processor is being used before you start? What kind of processor are you using?

You could try a system restart to git rid of anything in your system that is hogging recourse and just stuck running or running without you knowing it.

In the latest 64bit version of scrapebox, I tried to harvest url's then when harvesting reached 97% , I think it stopped or slowed down. I was not able to reach 100% because it was already taking so long at 97% so I just pressed the stop button
Is this somewhat a bug?

Make sure your firewall isn't blocking SB's attempt to connect to the license server, happened so many times already.

So make sure you have Scrapebox set as trusted/allowed in all 3rd party software. You could also try shutting down any unneeded programs.

Did you check your spam folder? Or were you the one who purchased from Vietnam with a USA credit card which was reported as unauthorized by the account holder and repurchased with another account?

but you won't probably make much headway getting the license issue resolve here on the forum. Check your spam folder as they always have responded in 24 hours for years and years now.

Also it looks like you have at least a little bit of your server check as red there, so you may have some 3rd party software on your pc that is interfering.

Ok, well you do have a red light on your screenshot so it could be something blocking it, or it could be something else.

Go into your main Scrapebox folder >> configuration folder - and there should be a scrapebox.sil file. Send that file to

scrapeboxhelp (at} gmail (dot] com

and they can help you out.

Also make sure you have Scrapebox set as trusted/allowed in all security software, like anti-virus, firewall and malware checkers etc.. Also for good measure you can try closing down any unneeded programs.

Note that disabling an anti virus does nothing to solve your issue, as existing rules will still fire when something is disabled, you have to actually set Scrapebox as trusted/allowed or simply uninstall the security software as a test.

No, you are allowed to use it on only 1 pc per license. They do have a license option where you can get a 2nd license for a discounted price of $45, so you can mail support if you want to do that.
