Magneto is an ecommerce CMS, so basically its another platform like wordpress, he's asking whether your plugins will work on a website built on Magneto, but a plugin built for Worpdress won't work on Magneto, so I think the answer to his question will be "No"

Yeah after checking on the platform and that they do have a plugin to integrate the platform with WP I think it is a fair conclusion that the Like Jacker WP plugin won't work on a site that is not built on the WP platform. And if Magento was integrated with WP using their plugin the Like Jacker still would only work on the WP part of the site.

I bought this plugin about two weeks ago. Waiting for my custom theme to be finished before testing it out. From what I just read above, it appears that this has issues with certain themes? Can you clarify what causes the issue?

The number of themes that won't play nice with the Like Jacker are few and far between and if you experience any issues at all then please don't hesitate to contact our dedicated customer support team at [email protected] who will happily assist you.

They will work with you to run through things and confirm or clear up any issues that may exist but don't worry just yet. Once your theme is finished try the plugin with it as there very well may be no issues at all.

Hi, thanks for posting your question and I totally appreciate where you're coming from with this. The amount of traffic you have coming to your site does matter but not in the way that most people imagine because it's not all about the amount of traffic your site receives, it's all about the current activity of your FB page that you're getting the likes for.

What I mean is that you could have a site that gets 100,000 visitors a day but if you have a FB page that has very little activity at the moment then you will be forced to apply strict limits to the number of visitors that you can like jack each day. The fact is that if you have a new or newish FB page with few likes then you 100% must go very slowly with the number of jacked likes that you send to it which means a website that has 100,000 visitors a day won't be able to send any more Likes to their FB page than a website that has 50 visitors a day.

FB knows all too well that Like Jacking goes on and it does it's best to detect it which is why your best defence against being detected is to play it safe and steady when it comes to the number of Likes you send to your FB page each day. Like Jacking isn't a race, it's a marathon with no finish line.

I have been Like Jacking for a very long time and because I've been sensible in the approach to Like Jacking I have never lost a FB page or website.

So don't worry about how much traffic your site does or doesn't get right now, focus on how many Likes your FB page currenly has and gets each day naturally. If if gets no natural likes right now then start of by only Like Jacking a couple of Likes each day to your page and slowly increase this to 5 or 6 after ten days or so. This may sound painfully slow but it's surprising how quickly these Likes build up and from these Jacked Likes, because they are from real FB users, you can begin to get natural Likes as well.

The more natural Likes your page gets means you can increase the number of Jacked Likes you can safely get without getting detected by FB.

I hope that sheds some more light on the subject and helps to ease your mind about the volume of traffic your site receives when it comes to Like Jacking.

It is indeed true that with a very small minority of themes the plugin is prevented from being able to do the very specific job it is designed to do. It is most unfortunate that the theme you use is one of those that can interfere with the jacker and if no other solution can be reached then we will be more than happy to buy back your license by issuing you a full and complete refund.

If you have contacted support requesting that then please allow them 24 hours to respond and have the refund processed.

Hi, you will need a self hosted WP site to use the plugin on. If you have no Likes at all right now then I would suggest following the FB marketing 101 steps of connecting with other pages and sharing links to your posts where that is allowed on other groups.

Bought it yesterday, didn't worked out on my theme. Still trying to get it to work with their support, but there is no logging option in the plugin, so even the developer can't check where it is conflicting with the theme files. Support has offered refund already. Have mailed the support to see if the conflict can be found by some logging, else will have to take the refund.

The Like Jacker is quite a unique plugin. As far as we're aware it is the only Like Jacker that's available as a WP plugin and it does a very specific task this is rather black hat and for that reason we are often restricted in the way we can code it. It is already having to play nicely with the way FB is set up to circumvent the standard process of getting a Like from FB users without alerting the FB user as to what is going on.

It is because of this that we are often limited with options to force the Like Jacker to work with every WP theme currently out there.

However, our dedicated customer support team will leave no stone unturned and no avenue unexplored when it comes to trying to resolve the issue you have raised with them. And should it be that there are no other alternatives then we will happily buy back your license by way of issuing you a full refund.

We, as much as you, would prefer it if that last option can be avoided as we understand how much value you see in the plugin which was the reason for your purchasing it in the first place.

Hi and thank you for the suggestion. The list of sites that do conflict with the plugin would be much easier to compile than a list which do not. However, compiling a list of themes that the plugin works with can lead to a number of issues which include:

1) The list would never contain all of the themes that are known to work with the plugin as there are just so many themes out there. Even if we placed a couple of staff members on the job full time it would never be complete as they would have to manually go through and test the plugin with every single WP them available. And for the premium themes there is the issue of the cost involved with buying them all.

2) If we released a small list of themes that the plugin is known to work with then that would lead a large number of people to start using those themes which would begin creating a known footprint that gives FB somewhere to start from when looking for people Like Jacking.

3) Due to the vast numbers of people who now use the Like Jacker the small number of themes on our list wouldn't service the needs of all those people so they would still need to try themes outside of the list.

As we have stated before, the number of themes that the plugin may not work with on all Like Jacking functions is quite small compared to the vast number of themes available. The Like Jacker offers a number of different options for Like Jacking your sites visitors which includes when they;

Click on a video
Click on an image
Click anywhere on the page
Click on the close button for the modal box

With a very small number of themes some of the above jacking options may not work. For example, the "click anywhere on a page" option may not work on a certain theme but the "modal box" option will still work. The issue arises when the customer wants to use a certain jacking option but that option doesn't work on their theme. Although they can use a different jacking option that does work with their theme they choose not to.

It isn't always a case of 'the jacker doesn't work at all with some themes', more accurately it's the case that some of the jacking options are not compatible with some themes. And in all honesty the only Like Jacking option I use on all of the sites where I have this plugin is the "modal box". It is by far the most effective option when it comes to Like Jacking the most people on your site and it also happens to be the most reliable and the most compatible Like Jacking option.
