Hi all

I've been using FollowLiker for about a week now on my personal account (making sure I know it inside-out before I develop targeted accounts). I've been reading up on various settings with interest, but decided on a different tact. As this is my personal account, I didn't want my friends, family and work connections seeing a sudden and extreme change in my activity on their feed.

Therefore, I decided to use a 'comment only' strategy (150 per day max) as this activity doesn't show up in the 'Following' section.

I wasn't expecting any major gains, maybe even just a few comments back. However, I'm averaging about 10 followers per day and between 30-50 likes. This account started with a tiny following and roughly 20 pics (mainly of nice places I've been and some work related bits) so it's been a nice, steady return.

I realise most people won't be interested on those numbers, but I just thought I'd share as a lot of people (at whatever level) seem to focus solely on liking and follow/unfollow.

The comment which has the biggest return for me is one that mentions the person who posted it: 'Nice shot Davesmith!', for example. I think this just makes it a little more personal. The 5 keywords or hashtags I've been scraping are all related to what I've posted. For instance, I went to Amsterdam for the weekend and posted a couple of nice pics so I started to comment on '#iamsterdam' to great effect.

Anyway, just thought I'd share my little breakthrough. May be useful for those with small, credible businesses or for personal accounts like mine. Not so useful for those of you hell bent on Instagram world domination!

Why don't you comment, follow, and like?

As explained above, I don't want the activity flagged up in my followers' feed as its a personal account. Comments aren't shown.

This is about the return I am seeing with MB Ingram Edition, more around 50 or so.

People that were (are) getting 400 follows per day, its gotta be through comments and its gotta be by saying follow for follow and stuff like that, but wouldn't that just get you a bunch of dumb useless followers?

Sorry OP the question above probably isn't for you.

Comments alone will not get you 400 follows a day unless you already have a BIG account with lots of followers or you're commenting thousands per day.

That's really interesting. Are you sure that comments don't show up in the 'following' section of Instagram when you're using FL?

It shows only if u r commenting the user who is followed by ur follower, othervise - no.

Dont let this deter you from scaling, no one looks/cares about this.

Hello OP..

May i know your settings in commenting? Because I have a problem using comment.. I always get Error that i have duplicate comment even though i put like 100 comment...

Likes have basically no impact on gaining followers. Gains are made through follows and comments. If you do all 3, try dropping your likes and you will see no difference basically.

mladz can you share me settings in commenting? I always get error of you may have duplicate your comment.. even I put hundreds of comment in csv file...

Comments are shown sometimes. Trust me. Got me in trouble with a ex one time. lol screenshotted and everything.

What settings do you use for 150 comments per day? Because I would like to do the same at an account of mine that I don't want to boost too crazy
