Hi all
I've been using FollowLiker for about a week now on my personal account (making sure I know it inside-out before I develop targeted accounts). I've been reading up on various settings with interest, but decided on a different tact. As this is my personal account, I didn't want my friends, family and work connections seeing a sudden and extreme change in my activity on their feed.
Therefore, I decided to use a 'comment only' strategy (150 per day max) as this activity doesn't show up in the 'Following' section.
I wasn't expecting any major gains, maybe even just a few comments back. However, I'm averaging about 10 followers per day and between 30-50 likes. This account started with a tiny following and roughly 20 pics (mainly of nice places I've been and some work related bits) so it's been a nice, steady return.
I realise most people won't be interested on those numbers, but I just thought I'd share as a lot of people (at whatever level) seem to focus solely on liking and follow/unfollow.
The comment which has the biggest return for me is one that mentions the person who posted it: 'Nice shot Davesmith!', for example. I think this just makes it a little more personal. The 5 keywords or hashtags I've been scraping are all related to what I've posted. For instance, I went to Amsterdam for the weekend and posted a couple of nice pics so I started to comment on '#iamsterdam' to great effect.
Anyway, just thought I'd share my little breakthrough. May be useful for those with small, credible businesses or for personal accounts like mine. Not so useful for those of you hell bent on Instagram world domination!
