Bad Idea to visit BHW with chrome browser ?

Hi guys,

This as been on my mind for a bit and I would like to know your thaughts about this one.

Do you think it's stupid, dangerous, risky and a bad idea to use the chrome browser as a everyday browser when you are an SEO ?

I read about PBN, I read blackhat SEO here and I have bookmarks about PBN post and other BHW stuff, and my google+ business account and all are connected to chrome.

So do you think im stupid and I should immediatly remove all my bookmark related to seo, bhw and pbn discussion and delete history and all ? and use another browser.

Or it's safe ?

And no one will help you, because no one knows for sure. I've heard from some serious people in SEO business that you don't need to use Google services in order not to leave any additional footprint. But there're no proves for that. That's why it depends only on you.

@OP, if you are concerned just use Firefox or another browser.
Personally, I rarely use Chrome because I am paranoid about the amount of data Google can collect.
The same reason I do not use IE or allow Windows to send error reports etc.

Consider "Iron Browser", built from the same source code as Chrome and its Chromium counterpart, but with the distinct inability to send back any information back to Google. Most everything that's different about Iron—just the privacy issues. It's also not updated as frequently, but your search typing, usage statistics, and other data is kept in your own system.

If you're that paranoid, move over to Linux and use TOR.

You won't have the fastest speeds, but at least no one will judge you when you're watching porn.

Not at all or at least I don't think it will affect you in a bad way. I'm using a Chrome browser too and most of my online activities including browsing and posting comments in BHW are done in Chrome. I have bookmarks and all that stuff.

Comodo Dragon is Chrome based browser, which doesn't send anything to Google.
Moreover, it is configured to use secure Comodo DNS server by default.
I also install adblock+ with "allow non-intrusive ads" option off and Ghostery with "disallow all".

Comodo Dragon comes with annoying Privdog plugin by default, which is better to get rid of.

It's not the only such browser but to my taste the most convenient one.

Comodo Dragon is not open source! Made by chinese developers, god knows what they plant inside(no offence). When its comes to browser, i personally prefer "open source developers".

Lot of pages of Blackhat World appears in the Google for many search queries, if Google hates blackhat world then they wouldn't have give ranking to these pages.
