Great post thanks so much for sharing, so far ive created my instagram today and already have about 200 followers and 50+ likes per picture. Ill continue to grow and be patient, but in the mean time what i was wondering was....
I looked at a sample content locker on the website, and when i was filling out the survey it took a while and to complete it i had to look up my credit score or pay $5 for some stuff. My question is do all the followers have to actually 100% complete the survey or do they just have to do some of it or what? Cause i dont think alot of people will actually complete the whole thing. Thanks!

Same question here. I tried to complete the survey to get past my content locker and stopped because I was required to either enter a LOT of personal info (ssid, cc) or actually pay for an offer. How do you deal with that? It is quite time consuming..

Just saying...i'm earning 100$ a day without even touching this method.
And i don't have 2 million followers. Only one account with almost 100k.

Hey OP, thanks for sharing. You think this would work on twitter? I have an adult account with 398k followers. I'm thinking of doing this but am not sure how to get started. I'd also like to do giveaways, real giveaways.

Just joined BHW because I was interested in IG marketing. Doesnt seem too saturated and people simply dont know how to monetize it yet. Just read over this thread and there were some questions you didnt get back to answering. I hate surveys. A couple guys on here said they were taking forever to complete. Do you still get paid if they dont finish them all the way? Also, real giveaways or phoney giveaways. I have no idea about the laws for this but can you get busted for some sort of fraud this way? I mean no money is changing hands so maybe its ok. Its just a karma thing I guess...not judging either way on that.
You mentioned that this was just a tool to make some extra money and said that the real money on IG is from your own product advertising...it sounds straight forward but could you elaborate on this. I am a beginning marketer and a a newb on IG.
From what I read it seems like you can make some money just selling these "shoutouts" if you get a large enough following and just do that. I guess that would depend on the number of shouts and how often you can do that before alienating your following. Or maybe you advertise your "shout service" in areas or products you like and so when you do shouts you are delivering value.
Anyway, last. Are there particular niches that work best with instagram that you would suggest if I were to affiliate market products on IG? Where would you look to find the highest payouts or do I simply have to hunt them down one by one?
I want to build something sustainable for the long term. Im not looking to get rich overnight. I simply want to be free of the 9-5. If I could make a $100 a day from home to start this journey Id be overjoyed. Ive chosen Instagram and Im not gonna get caught up in the million and one opportunities or get rich quick threads on here.

this method works good if you're just trying to earn some money while you're starting out because giveaways are harmless if you only do them once a week. I usually didn't actually give away something...call me evil.
Yea so you're going to make the most money if you're advertising your own product on your instagram page. It's a lot more work but it's definitely worth it in the end. For example, if you run a fitness page, you could find a unique fitness product through aliexpress, alibaba, whatever and order it in bulk from china. Once you have your own product, you could either make your own webstore or you could put it up for sale on amazon. Promoting your amazon product through your instagram page would boost your amazon rank and therefore boost sales even more.
Selling shoutouts alone will give you enough money to quit your day job if you have enough followers. The only fast way to gain followers these days is to buy shoutouts from larger accounts.
Hope this post gave you some more ideas, sorry if there's any typos I didn't read it over lol
I tried running a bot to gain followers but I think my ig account was too new and commented/liked too fast. got the ban hammer. lol im still new to all of this. Posted 4 pictures, gained 500 followers in about 3 days. oh well. Got 150 views, 119 clicks, and only 3 leads. lol pretty low conversion. Now that I see it works, I want to do it more efficiently and effectively. Anyways I would like to discuss with you in private on getting better conversion rate, and how to find other ig accounts with same niche. Please let me know the best way to contact you. I cant PM as of yet..

How do you guys interact with Instagram exactly? All I can see is the apps. Do you use your phone for this or a program?
