Hi, Are there any known functionality issues with sites hosted on Hostgator? Also, if you set it to "like" your non Facebook page and you don't have a "like" button, will it still work. I'm asking cause in the past you had to have a special like button installed, but I saw nothing in the manual. Thanks!

Hi, it's impossible to give a cast iron assurance that a hostgator plan won't cause an issue with the plugin. 99% of hostings are fine with the plugin as long as the PHP version is up to date (5.4 or higher). As for the Like button, if you are going to use the Jacker to Like your website pages then it is common practice to have a Like button on there already. But if you don't then FB wouldn't know unless they came and looked at your site.

Reselling the Like Jacker in any way is against the license terms. The plugin can only be used on sites that you personally own. Due to the way in which our licensing system is set up it can detect when licenses are being distributed/shared and we then cancel that license.

If you intend to share or sell the license key with others on sites that you don't own then please don't buy the product.

We're running multiple FB ads. Sending traffic to our website, gain FB likes, post engagement, etc.

From what I have read here, one shouldn't run this plugin before FB ads are approved by FB. Therefore since my ads are approved and running, can I run this plugin with these ads active?

or should I pause the and run the plugin ?
or wait till they are complete and run the plugin ?

I get about 1500 visits a day, So 100 likes would be safe right?

Doing any type of Like Jacking runs a risk as it's seen as Black Hat by FB. It is safer to use the Jacker after you have had your ads/site approved by FB but there is no guarantee they won't come back to look at your site and this is especially true if your site starts getting a sudden spike in Likes.

The number of safe likes per day site really does depend on how many Likes that site has now, how long it's been since it last got any Likes and the average number of Likes it gets per day now. If you're running FB ads and your site is getting 5 Likes from those ads and then you start Like Jacking and suddenly the number of Likes for your site jumps to 100 then you can expect FB to come back and have a look at why that may be.

You don't want FB coming to look at your site so you need to be careful and sensible about the number of Likes you're going to get via Like Jacking.

so are you saying that if i am am getting an average of 5 likes a day before maybe i should do the following
limit likes to say 10 for a week
then 20 for next week or two
then 30 or 40 for next two weeks
and so on like that

There will be a point where you max out and it's hard to know exactly where that point is as you always want to remain away from FB looking in to what you're doing. The numbers that you mentioned should be safe enough but I would increase it from 10 to 15 rather than 10 to 20 and leave it as that for 10 to 14 days.

To help avoid consistency I would also make use of the plugins time settings and on some days turn the plugin off for a few hours and then on for a few hours just so there is no pattern to when you get the Likes.

Remember that 40 Likes per day may not sound like much but that 1,200 Likes per month and if you reach that point too soon then FB will take a closer look. You could also reduce the number of likes on some days and drop it from 30 to just 8 and then to 16 for a few days and back up to 30.

This type of behavior looks more natural to FB. I've had FB pages and sites that received 30 likes a day on some days and 4 likes on other days. No two days are ever going to be the same and you need to think like that when Like Jacking too.

The Like Jacker plugin has always worked, there never was a time when it didn't and this is the reason why we ask customers to contact our customer care team rather than post in this thread just stating "the plugin doesn't work" or "I can't get it to work" or "it doesn't work on my website".

This just gives a very one side and inaccurate picture. Our support team have dealt with every issue that a customer has raised and resolved things - that's because the plugin works and it works very well.

But that side of the story rarely shows up here because support issues are not dealt with on this sales thread.

So, yes, the Like Jacker works, it always has

To be fair, Shez has always said this is a BH plugin and it's to be used at your own risk.

Anyone with half a brain would never take the risk of using this on a money site.

It's a shame to think that Google would de-index your site from their listings because of a WP plugin that has nothing to do with your Google ranking, nothing to do with your site being indexed in Google and anything else even remotely related to Google.

It's also a shame that you feel the the plugin would cause Google webmasters tool to give you warnings about your site having malicious code because of the plugin. I know for a fact that it is impossible for webmaster tools to give you a warning like that because of this plugin.

None of these things are true and I know this from my own use of the plugin and the use for 1,000+ customers of the plugin. If the plugin was responsible for sites being de-indexed from Google then others would have raised the same issue and my own sites would also have suffered the same fate. I too would also have warning messages from webmaster tools of malicious code in my websites but the truth of the matter is that I have experienced non of these things on the 50+ websites that I have been running the Like Jacker on for more than six months.

In fact quite the opposite has happened because Google has continued to index more and more pages of my sites where I have the Jacker installed.

Maybe you could PM me with your license key and I can look at the site that you claim Google has de-indexed but none of the issues that you mentioned in your post are caused by the Like Jacker.

Maybe you could install the plugin again and get that malicious code warning back up and send me a screenshot of it?


It could be that your site having issues due to the negative SEO that you said it had received in a post on here dated 14th Jan 2015 where you said:

I was recently hit with spam links and my site dropped from #1 to #6-7 I disavow links but my ranking didn't wen't back. I beleve now I need some good links. So in my experence only disavowing links won't be enought..
