You can do social media share buttons via javascript. Grab instructions from Google+, FB and all other sites. Very easy to handle and in most cases they will load much quicker.

I agree. I actually use plugins but only 3 on each of my sites and the site speed went up massively when I got rid of lots of them. Sometimes you get plugin envy and think that YOU MUST HAVE THEM! when the reality is that it is just a case of the Emperor's new clothes.

Many of this plugins come inside jetpack plugin so it is maybe better to use jetpack?

To see which ones are bogging down your site, run P3 Performance Analyser plugin, swap out any hogs, then uninstall P3. This will keep your site running efficiently.

If your having trouble with load speeds I highly recommend the below plugin

It took my load speed from 1.67 sec (really like 2 sec depending on internet) and got it down to 0.6 sec (I would say 0.8 sec tho)

40% of users leave your website if the load speed is 2 seconds or more and I can already see a increase in traffic.
