Just tried KIWI from the UK and does not work any longer, best I could find were all $1.49 codes - I used '149scott'

rajiced - When you register a domain I think you can't transfer it between registrars for 60 days.

I now use GD to initially get domains and then turn off auto renew within their control panel and then I transfer the domains to Name a few days before the renewal date and this currently costs $8.25

Currently the next years renewal costs the same at Name so currently costs $8.25 not like the inflated GD renewal prices which are now $15, doing this saves you quite a lot if you have lots of domains for example it would be a $675 saving if you have 100 domains to renew.
