I had my account banned after my friend 'borrowed' it and connected it with a compromised paypal account. Any suggestions on how to get reinstated?

I had something similar with amazon and had to change all the following to re-start selling:
email
phone number
computer
modem
IP
local mailing address.
Bank account
trying not to sell similar items which my "friend" used to sell when the account got banned
It's something really bad and sucks and annoying. I know it.

Hello, I'm brand new to this forum and I think it's awesome, I hope I'm posting right, here goes....

So I have an ebay account, I maxed it out for the year by making 19,900, I pulled the plug at that amount because I didn't wanna go over 20,000 and have to pay taxes, I left that account with a delinquent balance to ebay for about 425 dollars in sellers fees, I plan on using that account again come the 1st of the year so I plan on paying that to keep it in good standing but as for now it has been suspended, Sooooo, last night I started posting on a friends ebay account, to sell some of the stuff I have left over, I posted about 15 things last night and about 20 today, using the same computer that I use when I post on my regular account, well they stopped me in the middle of completing a posting to say I've went over the 5,000 dollar max on his account and to call ebay to have the limit extended, so I had him call and they had him on hold for a while and came back to him and said was he familiar with my account (my original one that's delinquent) and that they've linked the 2 accounts as being together and that because my account owes money that they can't do anything for him, the conversation ended and they took all the postings off his account, so now I'm FREAKING out, I assume they found out what was happening because I used the same iPhone (and IP address) to post the listings on his account as I do on my account, I'm scared that I've broken some kind of law, or that I'm gonna get taxed now on the 19,900 on my other account, and that his account will be messed up for good now, please let me know all that can happen to me, I was stupid, but I didn't know if create this much chaos, or am I just being paranoid for nothing, so PLEASE let me know what I can do to fix this, and please let me know of I'll be in any kind of trouble, weather it be legal or with taxes, I only sold one thing on his account, but since i haven't been down this road before I'm a little worries, THANK YOU SO MUCH

I don't think you will get in trouble with taxes. I think the worst scenario is banning you two.

Recently I sold a Good [Key], and digitally delivered it using ebay msgs, the buyer got the good, replied saying I cannot download the product from the website, and asked me for refund. What should I do? If I don't refund, he might leave a negative feedback. But at the same time, He has the good with him, and can use it without paying for it.

I am feeling confused. Please HELP asap!

It's too annoying to deal with buyers on Ebay nowadays. I sold an item he wanted to return I accepted the return and refunded the money right away. He still left a horrible feedback. There is nothing to do about that. He will have the good. If you have any proof that he downloaded it than you may be good. If not he will win don't even try.

If he cannot DL it, then give him a direct link or mirror link to DL the software or whatever is it. Simple. But if's a game key, it's one-time-redeemable, no "site". Directly from the game client and that's it.

No, but STRONGLY advise against doing so...each eBay acct should have its own paypal. The #1 reason why you get 0/0 limits is because info you sign up with doesn't show up in public databases.

Get a new paypal. It's not that difficult. The ID and invoice thing comes mostly from eBay, not paypal. Paypal doesn't want the info until 200 item / $20,000 sales per year threshold starts becoming a factor.

What if I cannot verify my new Paypal as I do not have a US Bank account or US credit card ? WHile I am a AmeX Card holder iam registered with Amex Europe and that prevents me from setting up a US PP acc.

Not anymore. You pretty much have to have a live phone in the country you're registering in to pass verification now.

Sending money between accounts gets them linked and barred if either one gets in trouble.

Your only recourse would be to pay someone to verify the accout manually by a prepaid phone.

edit: legit in the sense that I do not getting 0/0 limits off the bat and can list a few days after account creation.
