Few days ago friend of my call me telling me that google just deindex MILLIONS of PBN domains. Than I check my domains and all they was good looking - no changes of the pagerank. Today I check the pagerank with other tool and it show PR0 on half of the domains, while on the others the pagerank was the same. I check all these domains for index (site:site.tld) I found that they are deindexed. I check their pagerank again with the word most popular tool as I think and it show positive pagerank on all of the deindexed domains. Possibly the tool that show me PR0 check the index first. I found that all domains hosted on seoparking (next net media product) are deindexed. This is short list of them (really aged domains constantly updated with spun content):
beerload
bodhicrystal
bohinj-apartments
cheapapartmentscroatia
(only .info domains).

Check for yourself - all they have pagerank and are out of index.
Someone write about the pagerank and its SEO impact 2 days ago :). Now what can we say about the pagerank and its SEO impacts.

It's resonant pagerank.

Like a burnt out star light years away.

Not sure what your point is but that PBN was a very poor example, as you had several footprints, the biggest being they all linked to www.geiledatingplek.nl or www.bremertonapartment.com
All those sites screamed PBN

Actually 3 of all 20 domains hosted for free there have brementonapartament, but this is not a point! Yes, they have a footprint like 99.99% of the PBN have. Don't tell me your haven't because one site with over 5 homepage backlinks screeming the same! BTW these are not links posted by me and I don't care for these domains.

The point is different - with or without footprint the pagerank on deindexed domains is fact!
Your point?

Yes, but maybe right now have 100s of 1000s such domains. So the question is where the pagerank impact is now? Is google killing the term pagerank or this is temp.

Page rank doesnt matter much these days its just a reflection on how much authority your site has and what your content is like :)

Don't use PR checkers as indexation test, search for info: pageURL, if page is not indexed there will be no results.

Google could hide PageRank in the future.

It would basically pull up the ladder from newbies.

Still not sure what you are getting at, if it has only been 2 days then the pagerank will be lost and become N/A soon.

Possibly! Will keep you updated. What if they get back in index - maybe some bug because preparing to g00gle 2.0 (just point and I do not hope). This is only signal - when buy backlinks with pagerank be sure they are in index, becasue as I say before there have maybe 100s of 1000s such domains. Also there are not only PR1 domains with this situation.

What ever tool you are using to check the page rank it cannot be able to show the real page rank, as only google knows whats the actual page rank at the moment. Who knows when google will update the public page rank to 0 or n/a for those domains.

PR is updated all the time (Real PR), it is only Toolbar PR that we have access to and it was last updated in Dec 2013
Google has been trying to get people to stop placing so much emphasis on PR for years, it is now a redundant metric for many people, internally they update PR but they may not release this info externally/publicly in future.
I think we may get an update at the end of the year and then an announcement in 2015 that they won't be updating/releasing the information in future.
There is a difference between domains no longer indexed because they are dropped/expired and domains that have received a penalty/de-indexed.
As for the comment about backlinks being indexed, then I don't think that will be an issue as most tools use Google for scraping anyway. Although, I can see unscrupulous people trying to sell links on their de-indexed PBN's lol

Deindex domains do lose their pagerank until they are indexed again. If they get deindexed for good, they lose their pagerank for good as well. Toolbar pagerank hasn't been updated in months, therefore you are still going to continue seeing the old pagerank of those domains until Google releases a new pagerank update.

Those deindexed domains are absolutely useless now for any Google-related SEO activity. If they have authority in bing, you can build a PBN for ranking sites in Bing (if you want, I wouldn't bother).

In the past when some domain get deindexed, its pagerank automatic turned to pagerank n/a - looks like now it is different.

Just quick update. My domains, that was deindexed (and I write about them up) still have 'toolbar' pagerank. They are expired and still deindexed and still have the same pagerank.
Just proof, that we must ignore the pagerank as SEO factor for domains younger then 2 years (or even totally). Just tired to read about pagerank backlinks.
Please, STOP!
