My First Kindle E-book Journey

Hello all!

This is my first journey here on BHW. I read a thread about a Kindle journey and I wanted to try it out myself. My goal is to achieve 50 e-books within a year from now.
My first e-book will be about fiction. A quite long e-book with 50,000 words and 200 pages. I'll be trying to complete this e-book in a week and I have already started.
I'll also be creating a wordpress website for getting my e-book for free if they subscribe to my e-mail list. I'll be setting up a Facebook fanpage about either the e-book or my author name on Amazon. I have not yet figured out a domain name to use for my wordpress website.

Do you think i should use a domain name about:
1. The e-book
2. My author name
3. A domain name related to e-books but not a specific e-book
4. A "random" domain name - since it will be several e-books after a while


If you like, feel free to give me suggestions about domain names related to e-books.
Also feel free to give me suggestion on a Pen name to use, thanks!

2. Create a e-book cover design [Completed]
3. Create a Pen name [Completed]
4. Complete my wordpress website [Not Completed]
5. Create a Fanpage [Completed]
- Create a Fanpage Header [Completed]
6. Buy a domain name[Completed]
7. Create a logo for website [Completed]
8. Publish e-book on Amazon [Not Completed]
9. Create a author page[Not Completed]
10. Get a 5-star review on my e-book [Not Completed]

I hope i'll be able to complete this to the 15th. I'm not sure how many hours i'll be able to work each day on this. Feels like I got a ton of things to do all the time. But i'll try my best to acheive this. If fiction e-book does not work out so will i continue on with around 10,000 to 20,000 words none-fiction e-books.

As far as your question, if you plan on publishing multiple books under the same pen name go with the author website.

If not go with the book website.

However, why not do both?

Search for your targeted audience and try to pick a popular name from their era, that you think they might relate to.

I'm sure this journey wont be easy, and being successful has a lot to do with luck also. From the past years i have not been so lucky in the success road. Will see if it decides to change this year

Was he the white ninja ? ^^ Don't think that will work since if they search for Uncle Buck , then the movie Uncle Buck will show up.

I just completed my e-book cover. Will start with a logo as soon as i come up with the domain name i intend to use. But it's hard.

Sure, why not. Tony Cane is also an option, as I accidentally first wrote it like Cane, and there was only like one result for exactly that, others were Cane-wregohgoeu

Tony Cain also did not have any results and i checked, TonyCane.com was taken so think i'll go for Tony Cain
