There's no official release date for v2 at this stage, all the major features are done and there's some smaller things left and testing to do before a release date can be announced.
v2 has full unicode support, native 64 bit version, re-sizable GUI, performance improvements (I've just been harvesting at 150k urls/min using only 150 connections), there's a lot of improvements to the proxy harvester (trainable proxy scraper and you can classify/filter proxy sources based on the % of working and Google proxies).
There are other things, i won't list them all now but the other benefit is since v1 had 5 years and hundreds of features added on, v2 is a full rewrite so everything under the hood is a lot more organized/optimized.

Just download scrapebox on the new pc, extract to a folder on your desktop or in your documents folder. Then launch it, hit activate, enter your license info and wait till they activate it.

If you want to scrape the results of the engines scrapebox can do this, if you want to save of the entire SERP then scrapebox can not do this. I don't know of a free tool that will scrape the results.

Thanks for the reply. My Job is just collecting urls from search results. I tried gscraper and it didn't work well. Can you please confirm if the urls collected through scrapebox will be same as google search results when it collects thousands of links. Please give me suggestions before i buy Scrapebox. Thank you.

Yes, google sees scrapebox as a browser and its going to return the same results. However if you are looking for extreme accuracy (which is really a subjective statement when it comes to google SERP anyway) then you should know that google will return different result sets for all kinds of reasons. You can literally install 3 different browsers on your pc (if you install the right ones) and type in a query and get 3 different sets of results with reasonably significant variance in results. Additionally the geolocal of your IP, or a proxy can return different results. Also using 10 results per page or 100 etc.. can return different results.
So you can mix all those together and you can get significantly different results just by combining different elements, all from your pc, all searching the same query. How much different the results are varies by query as well.
So yes scrapebox is going to give you the same thing google gives you in a browser, but what google gives you on your phone, your ipad, your mac, your pc, firefox, chrome, IE, your IP, a proxy from another country or same country different region etc.... all can vary. So in mass its all good, if you want to see what you see in your browser, for your IP, with 10 results per page, then really the only way is to build a custom harvester url for 10 results per page and enter in the same user agent that your browser uses and then also use your IP, all of which you can do, so yes you can see the same results.
You could also use proxies from close by and probably get basically or exactly the same results.

Hi, is it only me? or is it my proxies? I cannot get results scraping google at all. Hmm, did try using private proxy, public proxy and semi dedicated. They all harvest Yahoo, bing. But google, all i can get is some 100-400 results, then it sits there eating up bandwidth but never return any results.
Never mind!! got 20 semi dedicated fresh and the software google harvester is flying again :=)

I have tried for weeks to get this tool to scrape targeted emails with no joy. To be fair, a lot of it is down to forums hiding members lists etc these days, but if anyone can show us a simple way of scraping targeted emails with this tool, I'd be grateful.

Of course "targeted" is subjective as you said, you can't scrape emails that scrapebox can't read, but here is how to get going on it.

I just got the tool two days ago , The keyword scraper doesn't work , it say scraping is complete but it scrape nothing , and when I click stop harvesting urls it won't stop and I should reboot my VPS to make it work again , And I've emailed the support but no one is responding , And it pissed me off , What should I do now get a refund or open a dispute or what?

Are you scraping from bing or google?
Usually when you scrape and you don't get any results is because your proxies. Do you use proxies?
