Where to Anonymously Get a Website and .com Domain?

I've searched all over to find this and I haven't had any luck. I want to purchase a website host where I can place my website, and get a domain. I'd like to pay with bitcoins or some other anonymous method and I do NOT want to have to give my address or phone number when I set everything up. I'd also like it to be offshore. This is a site for activism on a sensitive and serious health issue that is ironically tied to politics/money (people are DYING, and a very large and prominent national health organization is covering it up)...so I really want to remain 100% anonymous and away from having things taken down or complained about and thus taken down.

Can anyone help with suggestions?

PS: I have looked at other threads explaining how to do this anonymously. If I put in a made up address when I register, won't they end up deleting it eventually because the address is made up?

When I have looked at offshore hosting companies, I've read a lot about downtime which isn't cool. I haven't found any that seem reliable yet. Help..

Use a stealth Paypal account. Not many hosts, or domain registrars, accept BC.

Yep, technically you can't own a domain "anonymously"... Doesn't stop people from doing it, it's just the risk you take.

There are a number of offshore hosts that accept payment by western union and do not require personal identifying information, they will also ignore all takedown requests, these can be found easily by searching. Some are better than others and this is typically reflected in the pricing. Look into their history to see how reputable they are, a few have been around for several years and are quite solid. You will always experience some downtime with any of these type of hosts though, this is due to the number of DDOS attacks they tend to have directed at them due to some of the content they carry.

As for domains, there are registrars out there that do not require your personal details, they will use their own, (again search for offshore/asian companies) however I have found that although none of these will hold/release any identifying info about you they will typically cave to takedown requests. there's no getting round this as if they don't comply they risk losing their business as a registrar.

The best way to ensure total annonymity is to set up an offshore entity (panama is good) and hide behind that this doesn't come cheap though.

Thank you Demanz. Do you have any recommendations for either? I've searched online but I really don't know what I'm doing just yet. Every site I have found looks like it requests your address when you sign up for the domain? If you can recommend even just one that doesn't require that info when you sign up, that would help me out a lot.

Almost forgot... It's worth setting up a decent anonymous email account (via anonymousspeech or similar) before you start anything, also if your ultra paranoid (which is always a good thing) make sure to set yourself up with a VPN and proxy rig as more and more ISP's are commissioning monitoring services for certain organisations, you don't want to get caught out by the simple stuff.

Nobody will allow Most of the Hosting Service Provider Ask for Verification after buying. But you can buy domain hosting from local reseller then you can buy Anonymously but not sure. Better you buy it and make it private then your information will be hidden.

Never used bitcoins, however from experience you can use whatever details you like (just ensure you use a valid (anonymous) email addy) and pay by western union so there is no comeback. I know that at least the domain I gave you ending in '.in' will register the domain using their details, I'm sure one or two of the others will do also. Also as far as I know none of the links I gave you will hold any of the info you give them, it is expunged from their servers and logs after everything is set up.

This is where using the VPN comes in, it tunnels your traffic through your ISP so they can't snoop or log what your doing. Then use a fully private proxy to protect your VPN. If your really paranoid you can chain a few together to make it harder to be traced, there are plenty of tutorials about for this (I'm not sure that this is the right place to discus this stuff or if it's within BHWs terms)

There are many unique identifiers on a computer that can be used, ideally i would use separate hardware (that can be sacrificed/trashed if needed), however if your limited to a single computer I would suggest using a separate user account with different software and browser installed at the very least, or ideally set up a dual boot into a different OS (different version of windows or maybe a linux disto).

Things like browser, screen resolution, cookies, computer name, user name can easily be changed (simplest way is different user account)

Not sure to be honest, don't know the quality of whats available, maybe someone else can advise. The key thing to look for is that the far end of your VPN is somewhere secure and that it is well out of the jurisdiction of any organisation that may be tracking you, at the very least it should be at a point that is not likely to be getting monitored or logged.

What is the difference between a VPN and a fully private proxy?

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) Is an encrypted tunnel between one point and another (eg your computer and a server in a different country), the advantage of this is that nothing on the networks that it traverces can see what traffic is being passed within the tunnel.

A proxy will replace your IP address with the one of the proxy. A lot of proxies out there leak information including your source IP, hence looking for a fully private one that does not.

Hope that helps you a little more, It's been a few years since I've done anything like this so don't know what the options are on the open market, hopefully others may be able to help you out with recommendations.
