Facebook Apps 2.0 Update

we can make simple legit app then turn it to spam app ? it is possible ?

sadakxp i think you are wrong here, its not just API which got updated to 2.0 , did you see the Apps panel ? public_profile, email and user_friends are the default permissions you can ask users, but if you want any other permission for your apps, that app need to be reviewed by facebook. So its not possible that be get our spam app reviewed and get approved. Its not just about Graph API & FQL update. Its about permissions too.

Siddy is right:

For apps created on or after April 30th 2014, making API calls without specifying a version number is equivalent to calling v2.0 of the API. These apps won't be able to call v1.0 of the API.

Bro how many apps will you get approved ? Spam apps doest work like 2-3 apps, there must be like lot of apps and on the other hand do you really think facebook is that stupid ? There must be something like if there is any changes like name change or something of app, re-review kind of.

sometime smart people to stupid mistakes

I might be being a bit slow today but there is still loads of latitude for development,

Personally I think there is still lots that can be done with public profile, emails and user friends lists. Some of the long lasting, big earning apps use nothing more than that information.

For anything else, don't use the api. I've never actually understood why people used the api to do anything other than legit stuff, it was too easy to get caught.

A solution is to create a browser instance and go in like a bot from the user ip, and Mac address problem solved.

And that "lots" is?

What planet are you on? Invite friends, share ap, etc responsible for going viral (unless your work is pish and nobody will share it)

How about you share what it is you have been doing that you think you won't be able to do now and I'll see if I can help, rather than asking for the spoon.

You need Publish_stream permission to publish stuff, for that you will get to need approved, and about that invite friends, i heard even for that there is some kind of approval too.

anyone can confirm their app created before April 30, 2014 can still make calls for permissions other than public_profile, email and user_friends?
