What can anybody tell me about Amazon Seller SEO? In other words, what is known about Amzon Search resuslts? Everyone seems to know everything about how to get any website ranked in google but I can't seem to find any information about getting your products pages ranked higher in search results on Amazon.com. Are there any tools available to help accomplish this? Do you know of any websites to get bogus product/seller reviews? I do over 500k a year in sales on Amazon, this kind of information could prove extremely lucrative for me.

Thanks! :cool:

Are you selling your own products (your own brands) or products with multiple sellers?
If you are selling products which have multiple sellers forget about SEO its a waste of your time. You will be doing work for others.

If its your own products. PM me and we can talk via skype on getting verified (USA) reviews and high rank for your products in different BTG categories.

I would like to know some information as well. What is your Skype ID?

Are you going to give him some advice or a sales pitch?

Use sape to rank for your keyword in google.great for amazon.

It's the same as other types of SEO and I've seen great results from Web 2.0 creation services and social marketing. The product page I was trying to rank didn't have too much competition so it didn't take much, but I do believe the SEO is done very much the same.

If anyone has more specific SEO methods for ranking Amazon product pages I would like to hear it as well...

Has anyone had luck using any of the Google methods offered here to affect amazon?

It might be a bit too late to post in this thread...but these are my experiences when it comes to ranking in Amazon:
Consider that your listing is an article that you want to rank in Google. Therefore, you need to take the following measures:
- Use keywords in the title of listing. The title is very important factor when it comes to ranking in Amazon and, also, it provides another advantage: the amazon link will be composed of words from the title. So you will have keywords in the link, too;
- Use keywords in the short description, under the title;
- Use as many keywords as you can ( but without being spammy), in the product description. LSI is also very important in Amazon, too. So don't neglect it. Create a comprehensive description (the characters limit is pretty high, so use this in your favor).
- Use the Amazon special HTML tags to highlight, bold, and make italic text ( keywords). Also, don't forget to add H1, H2...etc. tags and integrate videos/ pictures, too.
- Add reviews that contain keywords in title and in content, too;
- Do not forget about the seller rating;

Things that automatically increase ranking: reviews and sales.

Are you aiming to rank them in Google or in amazon's search engine?

I was referring to Amazon ranking. For Google, you need to apply the standard techniques...and they could be found very easily here :D. And take into consideration that Amazon is a great authority on the web, so things shouldn't be very complicated when it comes to rank in Google an amazon webpage.

because I had an amazon rep tell me that html is not allowed at all. They use to allow it but now you can't create html tags..

Yes you can use HTML tags in your product description. See this link:

but that's in the buyer-seller msg service..which they mean email right??

I will try it on with one of my products to see if it works..
I just don't want them to look at my product manually and take it down.

every once in a while they check up on your listing manually..
