I used to work at an adult program and we tried many times to get chat traffic to work. The number of chargebacks on them are just TOO high. It's almost a gauranteed ban from any adult program. Not sure how well it would work with other offers.
I'm trying to find a good way to utilize the Skype global directory to target for regional and ethnicity based offers, haven't cracked the code yet though.

Traffic generated from the Social Networks/Chats where you act with people. Not agreed with many networks since considered as incentive .

PLEASE LOOK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX.
Don't think of "CHAT" traffic as CHAT ROOMS. Think of it as conversations you're having with the individual you're marketing to. It ideally should be called CONVERSATION traffic. Conversation traffic is highly profitable in numerous circumstances.
You can use CONVERSATIONTRAFFIC to convert ANYTHING. THIS IS NOT JUST FOR CAMS.
Example for bizop:
Throw on a contact form/method(ie skype, aim, yahoo etc) on your landing page and write a script that will help with the conversion.
(1) Hey you caught me as I am busy working. I'm personally on step 5 learning about monetizing! I've averaged 30$/day profit but I am reaching to make 50$!
(2) The program itself is pretty simple but it gives you all the basics on what you need to know.
(3) I started about 4 months ago and avg about 20-30$/day. If you try it out make sure you can dedicate atleast 2 hours a day to this. Deff worth the money.
(4) I got to go, drop me another email after you signup if you have any questions.
That's a VERY BASIC/SIMPLE 4 line script. Do not use it, it just is built to give you an idea.
The idea is to promote positive aspects on the programs you choose to advertise.
I have CONVERSATION/AI bots for every IM service as well as most email services, no they are not for sale.
With my dating traffic I average about 14-20% conversion generating about 100-300/leads per day. This is based off of a 6-8 line script WITH built in trigger words. Here is some examples for some basic trigger words to implement. Trigger words take you from 5-10% conversion to 18%+
spam-{No way I dont spam!|Spam is so annoying!}
scam-{I've used them for a while and no scam|They never scammed me}!
fake-{Honestly, if you think I am fake then YOURE fake.|I hate fakes.}
not joining-{That's fine! I like it cause its real people|You dont have to join, it's just a site I use a lot}.

Chat traffic can be pretty good, I broker a good amount around and there is money to be made. But still, email traffic is bigger better volume
