but for me i pu the url as you show on your example

the link will be redirected to the post page, but i will change the page post URL from
Code: 
[URL]http://gamesmechanics.com/?p=1[/URL] to [URL]http://gamesmechanics.com/1[/URL]
and nothing happens, the page keeps loading...

I did something wrong?

if i change the url this way (
Code: 
[URL]http://gamesmechanics.com/?url=http://gamesmechanics.com/?p=1&referer=http://sh.st/0qpM[/URL]
) the URL will redirect correctly to the offer page, but im not sure if is safe..

Can you confirm?

This script has worked great for me but I've run into a strange problem.

I'm using this with Prosper202 and have recently gone over 1,000,000 subids in Prosper. Now, the script is somehow cutting off the last digit of the subid. So 1076543 becomes 107654. Strange, huh?

I've made sure that it's not Prosper dropping the last digit. It's not, because when I use a regular Prosper link it's fine. It's only when I use the redirect. But something is happening either with the index.php file or the PHP code that sits in my WordPress header.

Any thoughts?

Just to answer my own question here...

I was using a PHP script that would select a URL from a list of URLs to use as the fake referrer. That seems to be what's causing the error I described above because when I take that piece out of the mix, the script works fine.

So I'll go dig into that on my own. Just didn't want to keep you up at night fretting out this, JohnsonDaniel. :)
 
I haven't put this wonderful script to use yet, but it seems to work fine. Pity this can't run on blogger even by calling an external php file.
One question-sorry if it might sound like beginner stuff- but we all have to start somewhere.
if I have a lot of people coming from an 'fake' landing page- don't I also have to produce some kind of real traffic through that page. Isn't it possible for my advertiser to see that a lot of hits are coming from a site that in fact has no traffic?

Thanks, JD, when I put the second code behind the <head>, and open this page, The following code appears in the top of the page:
'; if ($p1 != 1) { foreach ($p as $value) { echo ''; } } echo '
'; } ?>

How can I fix it?

Yes, the code still works, but it does leak the referer from time to time.
 
I guess if it leaks the referrer from time to time, it essentially doesn't work anymore for its intended purpose then.

Trying to get this script working, but it redirects to the referrer. Any ideas?
