[Help Needed] What sort of effect could I expect?

Sorry for your time, but I'm an IM'er, not a SEO'er.

Now for my question. What sort of effect could i expect on my ranking, if I gave my site 20 pr7 - pr10 relevant backlinks? I know that it would be positive, but could I expect any real change on my SERP's, or even my PR? These backlinks would not be homepage, but would be in-post contextual.

Legitimate PR7-PR10 (on the actual page your links are on, not domain PR) relevant backlinks are very rare, and very expensive. If you're actually able to obtain these, then the SERP gains would be huge.

Can I just say... I dont mean to be a bit of an A*se Hole... But PR is actually irrelevant now as the big G is never gonna update the PR tool bar ever as the patent for PR is running out... I would recommend looking at DA/PA...

Ok, thanks for the head up, could I expect any changes to my Domain Authority, and Page Authority?
Would it be best to spread the links across a range of pages, or just the root domain?

Even with a lower quantity of links of that nature, you could expect a great gain. If people are able to rank off of using lower quality links, using these would be massive. Learn some things about SEO, it goes hand-in-hand with Internet Marketing.

Sorry but how are we suppose to tell you what is going to happen if we do not know your keyword competition or niche
competition or what your competing against? No one could honestly tell you something worthwhile.

even if that is true, 20 links of that status would still help his authority. competition and niche are not relevant to his question.
