I thought I'd post with my experience on here. Tried to get my license changed a few months ago, but to no avail, no one contacted me, I provided all the right details as well. I emailed them a few days ago about it, and still no reply. Really disappointed, fair enough I purchased the software in 2009, but that doesn't mean I should be treated any less differently to the people purchasing now. The software does say its a lifetime license...

I have 2 scrapebox licenses and they're both running 24/7 on different machines.. you can also create multiple "instances" of scrapebox on one machine too. Hope that answers your question

Just giving a thumbs up for the product. Got my licence in a few hours - bright and early "their time zone". (bought it about 2 pm my time zone)
From a noob's point of view, it is a learning curve and you do have to go looking for things - (for the life of me I could not find the keyword scraper LOL)... and I had to do 2 updates to get a few of the plug ins that didn't appear to install the first go round. That said, this thing does everything but the laundry!
It is a work horse and is quite functional even on country high speed (eg, not lightning fast) and it is slurping up keywords, and urls for article spinning.
Def take a look at Loop's vids and some of the other stuff on Youtube... one on local SEO worked very well and gave me a pile of directories to submit to for my other "job".

No, there is no trial. But you can check out thousands of reviews, both on here and just google for them. Also you can use the BHW discount and get it for $57 instead of $97.
Are you running it from a zip file? The old poster just loaded the files and went. However the custom poster has to do things differently, so it actually takes your files, loads them and then writes them to a 2nd spot in the scrapebox folder.
Some people mistakenly run scrapebox straight from a zip file without unzipping it to a folder. In this case scrapebox can not write to the folder it needs to and it throws that error.
It could also be that your scrapebox folder does not have write permissions. So check that.
Check your spam folder. Also make sure you are submitting them the correct info. I have entirely too many people use a contact form and send me questions and mistype their own name and email address.
Also of course as I mentioned, make sure you have @scrapebox.com white listed in your email and that you check your spam folder. They always reply and almost always within less then 24 hours. Its been that way for years, 365 days a year. They even have replied me on Christmas etc...
If your asking if you can run 1 license on 2 different machines, then no you can not. It is a single pc license with 1 free transfer per month. So if you wanted to run it on 2 different machines at the same time, then you would need 2 licenses.
However if you had 2 licenses then you can of course run it on 2 machines. If you have 10 licenses you can run it on 10 machines etc...

Just add google.fr from the "Select engine & proxies" module and it will be also available in keyword scraper.

Can the Article Scraper scrape german articles or only english ones?
Are the translations used by google translator or how do scrapebox translate english articles?

Been noticing for a couple of days that Bing returns more search results than Yahoo. This happened for keyword searches as well as site: searches. Is this just a freak occurrence, or happening to more people? Is Bing overtaking Yahoo in terms of number of indexed sites?

That means that your version of scrapebox is too old. You need to download the latest version.

It uses google translate or bing translate to translate articles. I don't read german so I don't really know how bad the translation was, but I would assume most of the time that google translate is reasonable. Reasonable meaning its a GASL the same as EASL. That being as least as if it were written by someone who speaks German As a Second Language. The only thing I can compare to is English As a Second Language. I can tell when someone is a native American English or British English speaker and when they are EASL. So I would assume google and bing translate come in at that level of translation or above.
Anyway, thats where its at. If you put in German terms and those article sources had articles in German then it could scrape German articles else you would have to scrape English and Translate.
They are planning a content scraper for some time down the track. I have no idea how far out that could be, as they have quite an extensive todo list. But at what point thats done, you could set it up on German article sites and get German articles, but for now thats where its at.

I harvest millions of URLs daily, and the problem with SB is it can only support up to 1 mil per .txt file, resulting in hundreds of .txt files all over in which I have to manually load it up to SB one by one (which takes a very, very long time), remove dup domains, rinse and repeat. This takes hours and can take longer than the scraping process itself. Is there a way to automatically remove duplicate domains on each of these maxxed out lists so I can merge them together?

Yes there is dupremove addon in scrpebox - you can merge and remove duplicates from a file that has more than few million urls.
