Hello B'Hatters,

I just bought a domain and i forwarded it to the money site, what other things do i need to do? The domain i bought has about 27k Backlinks, Referring Domains: 1.4K, text 26,728, ******** 23,599, nofollow 3,129, sitewide 6, not sitewide 26,723, redirect 0, image 55, frame 1, form 0, Governmental 4, Educational 148.

I'm new to this domain buying and info or links on this subject will help, ThanksGuys

Now put something on the domain and start making money.

So you have bought a domain which has been binned because it has been spammed to death. Or am I missing something?

How do you know its a Spammed Domain?

Because when you've bought enough domains, you can almost 80% guess if the domain is spammed just based on numbers alone. A "natural" link profile and a previously SEO spammed profile looks very different.

lol It might not be spammed at all though. I think he's just guessing based on the numbers you provided. If I had to guess, I'd say majority of the links are comments. note: Just because a domain is spammed doesn't mean it's useless though, although these domains usually get dropped by previous owners because they got penalized.

Before you buy a domain, you need to actually check out what kind of backlinks it has, the link velocity they were built at, the anchor text ratios, an archived version of how the site use to look like, whether it's been dropped by multiple people or not, whether it's been re-purposed and used by a spammer, etc.

Let me just put it this way, when I am buying domains these days, if there are plenty of links going to it, I leave it will alone. There are many of domains which have been binned over the past year or so due to penalties.

Check out the domain on internet time machine, try to replicate the way the website used to look. Then you can implement some backlinks to your money site. Rinse and repeat about 100 times and you have yourself a half decent blog network.

Of course there is a lot more to it than that, but you get the idea ;)

It looks like the domain i bought use to be a forum or blog.

You had an initial purpose for it, correct??? Follow through with your plan. You didn't just buy a random domain to redirect....

Yes I did, my plan was just to take potential traffic from one niche and bring it to mine. Example: Buying Expired Nike.com and redirecting it my Adidas.com website.

I would actually have two money sites if that one gets a lot of traffic, and maybe throw some links to your initial one from this site to build authority. But utilize both, be your own competition.
