Minted was a difficult word for me when I moved up north.

Minted=Loaded= Got lots of money.......useage "That guys got his own software company for high tech security stuff...hes Minted"

Mint=Immaculate condition useage "this one owner car is Mint condition"

Minty= Scruffy guy that smells, useage "that guy over there sitting in a pool of his own piss is a bit minty"

I used to get confused between minty and minted " how is that guy Minted he looks like a homeless ?"

Wanker is still the king of British swear words..I believe its taking off in the US due to the inbetweeners. You need to look up the Viz comic Profannisaurus for some real gems though.
