Hey guys, Wyatt here...
I've been using a method that consists of promoting ClickBank products through YouTube videos that we rank on Google for one main keyword.
I have about 9 videos online that get me a ton of traffic. I was averaging about 400-500 hops on CB each day.
Up until about a week ago, I was direct linking to the CB products from the videos on YouTube.
Obviously it was working fine for me; I was making about 5 sales on average each day. However, I finally realized how much money I was really missing out on.
I?ve always known that it?s better to use a landing page rather than direct linking; however, I?m pretty lazy when it comes to things like that, and I didn?t feel like creating a whole landing page for each video to presell the product even more.
Plus, I figured that the video was doing enough preselling as it is.
So instead of creating a landing page that would presell the product, I decided to create a simple, high-converting, landing page that just collected emails.
There was only one problem that remained; my 9 videos were in 9 different niches that I knew absolutely nothing about. For example, weight loss is one of my niches, so how could I deliver high quality content via email if I knew nothing about it? Furthermore, how am I supposed to write emails to 9 different email lists about 9 different topics? I came up with a simple solution to this, which I?ll go into detail about in a second.
Anyways, after they enter their email, I then send them to the original ClickBank offer, so that I can still make some sales upfront. I later discovered that the email opt in page didn?t hurt sales at all.
Now I?m currently collecting emails and still making direct sales.
So here?s my new method:
The first step is to create a super high-converting email opt in page. For this, I use a Wordpress plugin called ?Lead Rocket?. It?s one of my favorite plugins.
Here?s an example of one of my new opt in landing pages:

It definitely gets the job done? converting for me at over 50%.
Now, the next step is to create a list on Aweber (Or any autoresponder) and set up some follow-up emails.
Before, I go into detail about my follow-up emails? we should talk about what happens after they enter in their email address.
When setting up a form on Aweber, you can use any link for the ?Thank You? page. For this, I just put the ClickBank affiliate URL for a weight loss product. So as soon as they enter in their email, they?re instantly redirected to the sales page of a related product.
This allows you to collect email addresses and make affiliate sales.
Now for the follow-up emails?
As you can see on the landing page, I promised ?10 simple ways to lose weight?. When they enter their email, a PDF is instantly sent to them. It?s just incentive for them to enter their email, and it also keeps them happy.
So where did I get this PDF? No, I didn?t write it.
There are plenty of PLR stores online that sell articles and eBooks for literally any niche.
For about $10, I got an eBook AND the rights to give this eBook away for free or sell it if I wish.
Here?s the eBook that I bought from a PLR website:

As you can see, it?s actually 19 tips? this way I?m over delivering to the subscribers to make them even happier once they receive the PDF.
Now what about the rest of the follow-up emails? Yup, you guessed it. More PLR
This time, I went and bought about 30 weight loss PLR articles for about $12. I put each article into an email and scheduled them to send about once a week. This way the subscriber will receive a weekly email with quality information.
Once again, building trust with the subscribers even though I know nothing about weight loss.
So far I?ve only done this with two of my videos? yes, only two. I was just testing out the waters. Check out my Aweber stats so far (Just from two videos):

It?s only 6pm, which is why I?ve only gotten 145 today. On average, I?m getting about 100 subs per video per day.
This is gold! That?s 6,000 emails a month of potential buyers just from two YouTube videos.
And? as you can see, I?m still getting sales when they?re redirected to the sales page after entering their email:

So my follow-up emails are on autopilot and my lists are growing every day. Eventually, once a little trust is built up, I can send promotional emails to these lists and make tons of sales promoting other related products.
